To find files or document created in PDF format, type your subject, followed by filetype:pdf. Returns only webpages created in the file type that you specify. For example, SEO filetype:pdf will retrieve results with filetype pdf only. If you search for SEO filetype:doc, then the bing.com will retrieve results with MS Office word document. You can use any filetype you are searching for.

12) Find MP3 Music Files

15 Useful Tips About The Amazon Kindle EReader

If you happen to own one of Amazon's Kindle EReader, then I suggest that you go through these helpful tips that was shared by some of our friends.



The tips are as follows:

• Its eBooks have DRM (filetype: .AZW), but it supports unprotected Mobipocket books (.MOBI, .PRC), .TXT files, HTML, and Word. Some files can be transferred over USB, while others have to be emailed to the special per-device Kindle email. (More on that later.)

• It has a web browser, under the "Experimental" banner.

• You can download text and other files to the device from the web for later storage. I downloaded young master Doctorow's story "Printcrime" from the Overclocked site via the Kindle's browser and was reading the plaintext version in about 45 seconds.

• It can play Audible audiobooks, but cannot download them over the air using the "Whispernet" EV-DO service. They must be downloaded using the Audible manager, then copied to the Kindle via USB.

• The Kindle can play MP3s copied to its internal storage (180MB user accessible) or SD card, but only on random shuffle. Music can be played in the background while you read or shop the Kindle store.

• Kindle also features "Kindle NowNow," a human-powered search query system powered by Amazon's Mechanical Turk distributed work system. NowNow is free.

• Blog subscriptions cost $2 a month with a 14-day free trial. However, you can browse directly to the blog using the "Basic Web" browser for free. Basically, you'll pay for RSS, but not the web.

• Mobipocket DRM'd files will not work on the Kindle.

• PDF is not supported. At all. Even via the conversion process.

• GIF and JPEG are supported filetypes. Hello, manga!

• There are only two fonts: Caecilia and Neue Helvetica, both from Linotype. You cannot select which font to use to read (the book texts are in Caecilia), but can select from six font sizes.

• If you email a document directly to your Kindle, Amazon will charge you a $.10 per document conversion fee. You can choose to avoid that fee by using the free Kindle service that will email the file back to you, which can then be copied via USB. Update: The pay service took about 15 minutes to convert and broadcast a simple text-only .DOC file; the free copy, sent before I sent the identical file over the pay service, has still not arrived. Update 2: Okay, it actually arrived pretty quickly, but routed back to the email I use for my Amazon account, not the one I sent it from. That puts it in the neighborhood of the pay service.

If you are not in a wireless area or would like to avoid the $.10 fee, you can send attachments to "name"@free.kindle.com to be converted and e-mailed back to your computer at the e-mail address associated with your Amazon.com account. You can then transfer the document to your Kindle using your USB connection.

• The shape of the Kindle makes sense when you hold it, but the color isn't all that great. White plastic is going to get dirty, too.

• The conversion by email, both free and pay-for, isn't instant by any means. I'm actually still waiting on my files to show up after about five minutes. It hasn't shown up in the "Pending" list on Amazon.com's Kindle management page, either.

• You can't use the scroll wheel to move down content, even on the web. You must use the page forward and back keys. It's confusing.

• Bonus 16th Update: Having copied over .DOC, .TXT, .RTF, .PDF, .GIF, .JPEG, and .PDB files directly to the Kindle via USB, only the .TXT file showed up for viewing. How's that?

1. Use the full version of Bing
If you are using Bing outside North America, chances are that you seeing a localized version of Bing that may be missing some features. For instance, the Indian version of Bing.com doesn’t have search history and the image on the Bing home page here is not interactive as in the US version.
To explore the full version of Bing, go to this page and set English – US as your default region. You can now enjoy all the Bing features from anywhere.

2. Track Companies from the IE Favorites Bar
If you search for a company stock (e.g. GOOG or MSFT), Bing will automatically create a web slice for that company which you may then add to IE 8 and track the performance directly from the favorites bar. You need Internet Explorer 8 to try this feature.




3. Watch Preview of Hulu Videos outside US
Hulu hosts some popular popular TV shows but the problem is that you can only watch these videos if your computer has US based IP address.
However, Bing lets you watch shot previews of Hulu video even outside US. Just search for any TV show episode on Bing Videos (see example) and hover the mouse over any of the video thumbnail to watch a short clip.

4. Save and Email search results
With Bing, you can save your search history on to a local folder inside Bing or to your Windows Skydrive account. Alternatively, you may send your search queries to a friend via email or publish them on your Facebook wall via Bing. You’ll need Silverlight to share queries in Bing.
5. RSS Feeds of Search Results
Unlike Google or Yahoo, Bing offers RSS feeds for their web search results that you can subscribe to inside any feed reader. Your browser should be able to auto-detect the RSS feed of Bing pages or you can append &format=rss to any Bing search URL and convert it into a feed.
This RSS feature is not available for Image or Video search in Bing.

6. Find Pages That Link to MP3 Files or Documents
Bing (and Live Search) supports a unique "contains" search operator that lets you find web pages that contain links to particular file types.
For instance, a search like susan boyle contains:mp3 will show pages that are about the British singer and that also link to MP3 files. Replace mp3 with doc to search pages that contain links to Word Documents.

How to Defeat the Cocoon (Cocoon Battle)

To defeat the cocoon you must have a RPG-2 and a PKM. At the begining go all the way to the right and climb up the ladder. Once you go up you will see two front walls. Go to the 2nd one. There the cocoon can't shoot you with the front missles and machine gun. There you will hit the cocoon's head with the RPG-2 first. Then shoot him with the PKM as long as you can. The heat-seeking missles will smash through the wall so try to move around and then go back after the missles are fired. When the cocoon is almost dead it will dishock a ladder climb it to the top. The head will be in front of you depending on which side you climb. Hit with all you got. That's how you win. Enjoy!

There are many ways to make your farming experience better, and one of the ways to invest in the Farmville game would be to use tractors and seeders. They may look expensive, but they will pay off after a while. They can cut now your planting time by as much as 25%, which can really add up if you have a very big farm.

You can post your perfect bunches to your feed/wall, similar to the lonely animals for adoption feeds on your wall from friends. Your friends can click and receive your floral bouquet as a decoration for their farm. If you receive a perfect bunch from clicking on friends posted feed the flowers will be in your gift box. Once you place the flowers on your farm they will only last two weeks.

To save perfect bunches you will need to purchase a Garden Shed. A garden shed can store up to 30 perfect bunches of flowers. You can purchase a garden shed in FarmVille at the market for 30,000 coins and ten neighbors, or 30 Farm Cash. Once you have one, your Perfect Bunches will be automatically stored.

Share flowers with your friends or decorate your farm by opening your Shed, select the number of Perfect Bunches you would like to share; up to 5 of any single flower type. A pop up will open and allow you to post the five flowers up for grabs on your wall/feed. For your own farm you can select the Perfect Bunches out for the garden shed decorate your farm. Once you place the flowers on your farm, they will only last two weeks and you will not be able to put them back into the Garden Shed.

FarmVille offers a variety of flower seed at the market place. As you level you can unlock more flower types to plant. The flowers for levels under 30 are; sunflowers, daffodils, morning glory, red tulips, and pink roses. Flowers add spectacular colors to your farm.

If you wish to decorate your farm on FarmVille, then it may be a good idea to find the right decorations. It will cost you some money, so how can you be sure to spend your money wisely? You should focus on plowing and harvesting first. With the extra money, then you should shop around for FarmVille decorations.

•  Buying a flag. You can show your patriotism by flying a flag of your choice. They can be purchased at level 1.

•  Light post. This is only available at level 25. This will light up the farm during the night. Pretty cool.

If you are playing the FarmVille game, then you will realise that your farm has very limited space. You may want to consider utilizing and getting storage buildings to help you out in the game. This buildings are especially useful and you can use them to store your animals or items. At the same time, they can make your Farmville farm look better.

The amount of space that you have will depend on the number of storage buildings that you can afford. There must be a good balance. You must to some careful planning and you also need to know how to choose the right buildings so that they look good on your farm. You can get to clean up your farm rather quickly. This will help you to organise and utilize your items better as well. Farmville storage buildings are great if you know how to plan your farm.

For those who are fond of playing this game, then there is the FarmVille Villa that you should be looking at. This is worth $1 million and it is a status symbol for many players out there. If you have the villa, this means that you are one of the top players in the game.

Nothing is more important than money. Most people will have problems buying this prestigious villa. How do you get the money? The fastest way would be to harvest soya beans. It will give you high returns. Just repeat the whole process continuously. You will reach the 20th level very soon. After this, you should start harvesting broccoli because it is even more profitable.

The Farmville Windmill used to be a building, but is now classified as a decoration in the Farmville game. It is not cheap, costing you 100,000 coins. There are only available at level 22 and they will give you 1,000 experience points.

Are FarmVille trees really necessary? There is no real reason to buy a tree on Farmville, or any other things that you can get a free gifts. Trees are poor investments, you have to spend 700 coins and you will only get a low return of 40 coins every few days.

You should only accept them as gifts and then give them away to other people. You do not want to waste space on your Farm with such items. Instead, focus on harvesting crops, since that is the main goal of the FarmVille game. You should only have them to beautify your farm, but like I say, it is not necessary since it has a low investment value.

Terran Building Tips and Rally Points

• Turning on "Show Building Grids" in the options can help with your ramp block ins.

• When stacking Factories on top of each other, ensure 2 squares are open to the right of their addon to ensure Thors can get out if it is produced above the tech lab.

• Raising a Supply Depot will force allied units standing on it to move aside. Enemy units will prevent the action.

• Holding Shift when building Supply Depots can really speed up the process.

• To get your units to spawn inside the wall instead of outside of it set your rally point for entering the base.

• Your buildings are mobile! Don't build out in the field where they will be vulnerable, build in your safest area and then move your building to its new location. Check out other tips for how this can also be used as a raw battle tactic. Enjoy the game!

God of War 3: Persephone Puzzle

Okay, make your way to the pile of stones/rocks on the cart, you will need to push these stones all the way across the area. Next to the tree on the far side where a large wheel stands. Turning the wheel to the left will open the gate on the second level for a short period of time. You will then need to push the rocks under it and notch the wheel.

Once you have placed the stones in the right place, you will now need to make your way to the second level using the large tree in front of you.

Using your heavy attacks and magic on the Minotaurs, grabbing and kicking the small dogs will stun the Minotaurs.

Then make your way up the ramp to the upper level.

Take the ladder to find a secret area, remember don’t rush to get to the lever, take a look around have look for goodies. Once you are in the secret area there will be well hidden area behind the statue’s head. You will be able to get your hands on another Phoenix Feather located in the chest.

Now make your way back to the pedestal, your mission here is to get the large statues hands into the large cuffs at the other side. You will need to read the pedestal, once you have finished reading it you will need to press R1, to slam the pedestal into the statue. This will bring two ladders down on either side of the room.

As usual you will need to destroy all your enemies, heading towards the left first. Climbing the ladder and up into the small room, remember not to touch the wheel in this room just yet. Switch the lever on the platform close by. This will activate an elevator that will take you to the first floor.

There will be another leaver down there too, this one will open the gate, leading you back to the area where the first wheel is. Grabbing the rocks on the cart and push it onto the elevator.

Taking the cart into the small room. You can also use the cart in this room to prop up the wheel.

Leave the cart near the wheel and head back down the ladder.

Turning the crank in front of the statue, make your way back up the ladder. You will need to move quickly, move the wheel to the open arms on the state. Pushing the pile of stones under the crank, this will keep the arm in place.

Make your way back down and open the cuff again. Making your way back up the ladder on the ride side, finding an even smaller set up here. Doing the same to crank the arm up.

Once you have both arms up in cuffs you will then need to make your way to the pedestal, grabbing Persephone’s Coffin. A cutscene will occur.

Farmville on Facebook has quickly become my most popular social game to be involved with. Basically, Farmville lets you manage your own farm by rearing animals and growing vegetables and fruits. My friends are constantly developing new strategies and attempting new Farmville tricks and Farmville tips to help increase their level and expand their virtual farm on a daily basis. I started out just looking for tips and tricks hoping to improve my game play.

And that is why you are probable reading this right now isn't it? You are looking for a way to improve your game play from the start? I understand your level of frustration. Animals and Crops

I've given this a lot of thought. I considered what I'd liked to of know when I first started, so here we go. Now let's talk animals! You need to know that buying animals is not the first thing you should do. The reason for this is, is that if your spend that money on animals early on in the game, you will not have the money you need to invest back into your crops.

Planting crops give you the most bang for your buck, it is the best way to get those hard earned coins. I know it's a real temptation to get some buildings up right away. I get it, the farm has to look good right? Right! Make sure though you just put that in the back of your mind for a little while so you can gain more coins through planting and harvesting your crops. Trust me their will be a time for buildings!

More about Crops

Your farms crops are something that you always want to make sure you pay careful attention to. This is something you want to keep in the fore front of your mind. You want to focus most of your land, in the beginning on planting and harvesting your crops. Doing this will really help you out, because it is the best way to level up quickly. Now how much your crops make will depend somewhat on how often you play, but if you are reading this, that is probable everyday anyways, because your addicted to Farmville like I am! However just to make sure you make the most out of your new farm, play the game everyday.

Up until recently, visiting the factory and "clocking in" gave you 200 coins and 10 YP (YoPoints or known as experience points). You get additional coins for having crew members:

* Apprentice: 1 Crew Member (Just you!): No extra coins
* Apprentice: 2 Crew Members (including you): 20 extra coins
* Apprentice: 5 Crew Members (including you): 35 extra coins
* Apprentice: 10 Crew Members (including you): 50 extra coins
* Apprentice: 20 Crew Members (including you): 75 extra coins
* Apprentice: 35 Crew Members (including you): 100 extra coins
* Apprentice: 50 Crew Members (including you): 150 extra coins

(Meaning, the first "secret" is to invite all your friends to get the most coins possible!) Now, they offer you a choice of jobs:

* Weave Fabric for Clothing: 200-230 Coins, 6 XP
* Assemble Fishing Rods: 150-175 Coins, 11-15 XP
* Manufacture Furniture: 125-150 Coins, 6 XP (Chance of rare item or furniture!)
* Build a Basic Widget: 200 Coins, 10 XP (Equivalent to old way)

You will still get the bonus coins, described above, for having crew members. Which is best? It's really up to you. If you are trying to gain YP faster, go for assembling the fishing rods. If you want more furniture and rares, manufacture furniture. If you want coins, weave the fabric. If you want a mixture of coins and YP, build the basic widget. The secret to get the most out of this system, however, is knowing you can clock in every 6 hours. If you keep track of this, and log back onto YoVille, then you will be able to get more coins a day.

The total daily earning potential varies on a few factors: your number of friends, which job you choose, and how often you punch in. So, if you have 50+ friends, manage to clock in 4 times during the day, and always do the weaving fabric (and assuming you are lucky and always get the maximum for that job of 230 coins plus your 150 bonus), the most possible per day is 1520 coins.

Also, related to this, make sure you post the little blurb to ask your friends for help with a job. That can earn you more coins, depending on how many help you out. And when friends post blurbs, make sure you help them out, too, for even more coins.

*Important Note: While at one time replaced with the Sweets Factory, Zynga has finally listened to its players and brought back our Widget Factory.

2. Visit your Friends
Here is another reason reason why it is important to have friends in your crew. You can visit up to 20 friends' apartments/houses each day. You only get credit for the first 20 you visit, and you can only visit a particular friend once and still get credit. **Update! You can now visit up to 25 friends a day!** The trick is, you MUST do an action to get coins and YP. Yes, there are quite a few actions: "dance", "fight", "kiss", "joke", "message", and "give gift". All will give you the same YP amount: 10. But, you get more coins for sending a message or giving a gift. So, maximize your coins by doing either of those two for approx. 15-20 coins per friend! If you're looking to acquire badges, too, gifting is the way to go. (The gifts are not the free ones you can send when you connect to YoVille, but using the gift button in a friend's room. For this, you are gifting something out of your own inventory. But, if you're going to gift, why not get rid of some of those free gifts others have sent you.  Not only will you get badges based on how many friends you visit, but also for how many gifts you send.

The total maximum earning potential on this is 400 a day!

3. Play Games
Currently, there are four games you can play in YoVille. But, they are paired together. The first two games are the Race Track and Fishing games. Each win earns you 10 coins, and 25 YP. Both of these games, although it looks like you are playing your friends, really you are playing the computer.

The other two games are Tic Tac Toe and Rock Paper Scissors. You play against people walking around in YoVille. (The best place, I have found, to find willing opponents is in front of the apartment building.) You earn 10 coins for each game you win, and 5 for a tie game in Tic Tac Toe. Each of these games also earn you 5 YP for winning (you also get 5 YP for a tie game in Tic Tac Toe.) As with fishing and racing, these two also work hand in hand, so if you win 200 coins in one game, you are "maxxed" for the day, and won't be able to earn any more in the other.

You can win at these, combined, up to 20 times in a 24 hour period. (So, if you win at Fishing 20 times, you will not be able to earn coins at Racing, Tic-Tac-Toe, or Rock Paper Scissors.)

The total maximum earning potential on this is 200 a day!

4. Play Your Daily Scratch-off Card
You see these pop up once a day. Each card has 5 circles to scratch-off, one per day. Every card is a winner! There will always be three matches of one of the items: "coins", "item", or "rare". If you win a rare, you will get something not offered in any store. An item will just be a common thing available in the stores. If you win coins, you get 500! **Update! Scratch off cards have been discontinued.**

5. Get Additional Coins on yoville.com
This one is the least heard of way of getting coins, as it is not directly on Facebook, and most people don't even know it exists. By checking this out daily will get you even more coins! Start off by leaving Facebook's site, and going to http://www.yoville.com. Once there, you can get coins by doing the following:

* Pop-up missions! There are three you will get: turning on lights, grabbing pots of gold, and picking up presents. Each mission brings you to a friend's profile page. The presents mission is pretty straight foreward...you get whatever is in the package you click on the upper right side of the page. Both the lights missions and the pot of gold missions will earn you 5 points each time you click one, also in the upper right side of the profile page. I estimate that you can earn around 100 points a day following the missions. Correction: Thank you to emtbkim who has pointed out the missions on yoville.com refresh around every 10 minutes. So if you leave and come back a little later, there will be more missions, and more earnings potential!

* Separate Pot Of Gold Hunt! After all of the pop-ups are done (the last will let you post on your Facebook account that YOUR lights are out and you need someone to turn them back on) you can start finding even more pots of gold. 10 of these are hidden, randomly, among your friends' profiles. Your buddy list is in the upper right hand corner. The easiest way is to go to each friend's page, in order. Wait a minute for the page to fully load (sometimes the pot takes a lot longer than the rest of the page.) If a pot of gold pops up, click it for 5 more coins. If not, go on to the next page. 10 pots, at 5 coins each, is an extra 50 coins a day! (Also note that you earn badges for finding pots, so there is another plus!)

* Clean up splats! A new balloon feature was added a short while ago, where you can throw balloons at your friends' profile pages. This makes splats on their page! If you have soap, and click on a splat (on your profile or your friends') you will be rewarded with 5 coins. Be VERY careful with this, however. Some YoVillians LIKE the special (shaped) splats and will be very angry if you clean them up. So, for me, I make it a policy to only clean up the small or medium balloon "messy" splats, and not the pretty ones. (More on the balloons in a future volume.)

6. Get Profits From Items
This one is gonna be short and simple. Most of the "rich" YoVille players got that way by investing wisely. In other words, get the coins you have received from the above methods, save them up, and buy limited edition items (costumes are big, as well as holiday items.) Then, when those items are no longer available, they will be worth a lot more. You can then use the "events" feature to sell the item at a much higher price to another member.

7. "FREE" YoCash
The last one is kind of a last resort fix for those who really want YoCash (these are the special currency, not the coin), but have no REAL money to buy it with. If you click the "Earn More YoCash" tab above the game screen, you will be presented with offers. A lot of the offers are pay ones, but there are some free ones. You can separate those by clicking the "FREE" tab, and only those will show. Be very careful, as quite a few will get you into trouble (trial offers that will charge you eventually if you don't cancel.) But there ARE some that are free, like signing up for a newsletter. These will have low amounts of YoCash, but will give you a start on buying some of the special items that are YoCash exclusive.

Chrome Tips and Tricks: Facebook Notification Checker

Facebook Notification Checker works just like Gmail Checker, but for Facebook. It adds an icon next to the address bar in Chrome that alerts you to new notifications in Facebook. In my testing it was a little finicky and didn’t always catch new notifications, but for avid Facebook users it will nonetheless be useful.

One of the nicest features of Facebook Notification Checker is that it doesn’t require you to give it your username and password — you just need to be logged into Facebook in order for it to work.

The Market (located on the bottom right hand corner of your screen, with a pepper and tomato on it) is where you purchase all your items. The market is set up in a way where it has all your seeds and other items lined out in a row with the price underneath, as well as the xp that you will gain from the use of the item and then the amount you will be able to harvest from one square patch of ground.

The best course of action here is to use a calculator to factor in what item will be the most beneficial to purchase. You also need to factor in how long you will be away from the computer for, and when you plan on being back, so that you can pick a crop that will ripen at just the right time so that you are back in time to harvest it and plant some more, in order to be most efficient. Now each unit of seeds will take up one square patch of ground on your farm. By levelling up you will be able to unlock better items that may be unavailable to you at the moment.

So at the market you’ll be able to purchase a wide variety of goods including seeds, animals, trees, vehicles, buildings and decorations as well as the ability to expand your farm. Take your time to determine which items will be most beneficial for you to purchase. Taking the time now will save you a lot of time in the future.
