Farmville Nursery Barn Glitch

Hello Farmheaven friends. A new FarmVille glitch is allowing you to purchase more than one Nursery Barn. While the limit is still set to a maximum of one Nursery Barn per farm, farmers are able to purchase an additional Nursery Barn for 5,000 coins even if they already have an existing Nursery Barn on their farms.

According to one of our Farmheaven Farmville player Josh,

"Tonight when I went to the market I found that I could purchase an additional nursery barn for $5000 coins. I figured it was a fluke and it wouldn't let me but sure enough it did. I now have 2 nursery barns on my farm. Attached are pictures of the market place showing the barn and a picture of it on my farm. Is this a glitch or can we now officially own more than 1 nursery."

Farmville Tip: How to Get Experience Points

Here is another helpful Farmville tip on how to get experience points faster in the game. If you are looking to get experience points in FarmVille, the popular Facebook game, you are in the right place. Here are five quick and easy tips to get your farm running and gets you unlocking more items, plants, trees, animals, and more! With these five tips you will have no trouble getting to level up in FarmVille.

-Start off by only planting strawberries every four hours. Make sure to harvest as soon as they are ready or else you will not maximize the experience points you can obtain. After harvesting your strawberries quickly replant and repeat until you have unlocked raspberries. With raspberries you can do this every two hours. This will quickly get you a lot of experience points in FarmVille and will help you level up in FarmVille too.

- Though the plants that take longer usually yield a higher amount of experience per plot (two experience points instead of one) it is still much more logical to plant the quicker plants. If you planted plants that yielded one experience point four times a day you are still getting twice the amount of experience that you would planting the longer plants. If you want to get experience in FarmVille and level up in FarmVille, you have to stick to the quick growing plants.

- The easiest way to earn experience points in FarmVille is to simply plant a crop and then delete it right after. After deleting the crop you can replant it and continue this process. If you use this technique to gain your experience points, you will have to have a decent amount of money before you try this. It yields absolutely no money, but it is the quickest way to gain experience. If you want to level up in FarmVille, this is the absolute quickest way.

If you do not want to spend the time to do the prior step then you may want to try this tip. The alternative step is to simply buy the more expensive items and receive a quick boost of experience. You can then
delete your item and continue this process all over again. It is a lot like deleting your crops, except with this you can still plant your crops and have a successful farm. This is the fastest way to get experience points in FarmVille, but it is more for a one time step to get you to level up in FarmVille for one time.

- One of the easiest and most effortless ways of getting experience points in FarmVille is to get ribbons. These ribbons come quickly as you play the game and will quickly add up with experience for each ribbon you get. These ribbons are an easy way to level up in FarmVille and get you a lot of experienc points without any work on your part other than actually playing the game.

Farmville Tip: Using Decorations to Level Up

Hi there my Farmville friends. In this guide, you will find FarmVille tips for leveling up using decorations. There are a few decorations that have a high XP when purchasing them. Then there are some that have a lower XP but cost less and are worth purchasing for the XPs. If you are looking to level up on FarmVille and have coins to spare, read the following tips.

FarmVille Tip - Leveling Up With Hay Bales

If you need 100 or so points to level up, hay bales would be the way to go. Hay bales only cost 100 coins in FarmVille and you will get 5 XPs for each hay bale you purchase. So, in order to get your 100 XPs, you would need to purchase 20 hay bales. 20 hay bales at 100 coins each would put you at spending 2,000 coins.

FarmVille Tip - Leveling Up with Larger Items

If you need more than 100 XPs and do not want to purchase all of those hay bales, you may want to consider going with the larger items. The larger items will cost you a bit more, but you won't have hay bales every where. If you are purchasing items just to level up, make sure that you have plenty of money to blow. If you do not have money to blow, simply plow, plant, harvest, and visit neighbors to level up. Below you will find some of the larger decoration items that will earn you high amounts of XPs.

Tractor, Harvester, & Seeder

All three of the vehicles will give you 300 XPs each when you purchase them. Each vehicle will cost you 30,000 coins. If you purchase a tractor, you will pay 30,000 coins and get 300 XPs. Same with the others. So, if you purchase all three, you will spend 90,000 coins and get 900 XPs.

The Small Pond

The small pond will cost you 5,000 coins and you will receive 50 XPs. So, if you need to level up by 50 or so XPs and don't want to buy a lot of hay bales, you could purchase a pond to place on your farm. However, you would save money by purchasing hay bales instead of the small pond.

The Barrel Wagon

The Barrel Wagon will give you 40 XPs when you purchase it. The cost of the Barrel Wagon is 4,000 coins. Again, buying the hay bales would be a lot cheaper than purchasing a Barrel Wagon just to level up. You could purchase 8 hay bales to get the same amount of XPs as the barrel wagon.

The bottom line is, 99% of the time, you will come out cheaper to purchase hay bales than the other things. This guide is based on decorations only and does not include stuff you have to purchase with FarmVille Cash. It would seem mighty crazy to purchase stuff with real money just to level up.

Hope this Farmville tip using decorations to level up helped a lot in your farming game. Cheers!

Farmville Land Expansion Guide

Hello friends! Are you wondering what you must do in order to upgrade your land in FarmVille? In this Farmville land expansion guide, I will tell you what is required to expand your land. As of right now, the last two upgrades are not available. It still says, "Coming Soon". Also at this time, there are only four land expansions available. Let's take a look at each land upgrade and what is required to upgrade your land in FarmVille.

Homestead - Land Size 14x14

Homestead is the first land upgrade available. The Homestead upgrade is a size 14x14. In order to upgrade to this land, you will need to pay 10,000 coins and you are required to have 8 neighbors. If you do not have 8 neighbors, you will not be able to upgrade, even if you have the money.

Family Farm - Land Size 16x16

Family Farm is the next upgrade. The size of this land is 16x16. You will have to pay 25,000 coins in order to upgrade to the Family Farm and you are required to have 10 neighbors.

Big Family Farm - Land Size 18x18

The Big Family Farm can be purchased when you have 13 neighbors and have upgraded the land before this one. You have a choice of paying for the land using coins or farm cash. If you purchase the land upgrade with coins, you will have to pay 50,000 coins. If you upgrade using farm cash, you will pay 20. I think if you upgrade with cash, the neighbors are not required.

Plantation - Land Size 20x20

The Plantation upgrade is the last upgrade available at this time. You can also purchase this upgrade using coins or cash. To purchase the Plantation upgrade, you will pay 75,000 coins or 20 cash. If you use coins, you are required to have 16 neighbors.

More land expansion guide to come so do check back and read farmheaven farmville updates. Thanks!

Farmtown: How To Get More Coins and XP

Guys, here's a good Farm Town tip to get more coins and XP. If you are new to Farm Town, the first thing you need to know is the game takes some patience. In the beginning, don't buy anything. You will make more coins faster by plowing and planting until you are broke.

It is best to start with potatoes which are ready in one day and go to waste one day after they are ready. It is important to know that one day in Farm Town is equal to twenty hours. It is best that you plow your entire farm with no spaces. Make sure when you are plowing your entire farm that you leave a space along at least one edge for trees that will be given to you by your Facebook/Myspace friends.

You can harvest trees for coins and they never go to waste. If you have the time, plant grapes as much as you can. Grapes are ready in four hours, and go to waste four hours after, so don't plant them unless you are sure you will be around to harvest them. This will get your experiece up. Once you hit level 15, you can go to the realtors office on the map and expand your farm. Once you do, you'll have more space to plow and plant for more coins and experience. Think of the farm as a diamond, there are four sides, top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right sides. It will expand on the bottom left and right sides so it is recommended that you place your trees along the top sides of the farm.

All odd levels from 15 to 25 you can expand, you will see this in the realtors office along with the price for each expansion. At this time, there are no expansions after level 25. Once you unlock rasberries, plant those as much as you can. They are ready in two hours and go to waste two hours after. They are great for experience.

Neighbors are important to have. Once you have ten neighbors, you can hire others to plow the previously harvested fields at your farm. This will save you time and coins. Plowing yourself cost 20 coins per field, hiring a non-neighbor cost 15 coins, hiring a nieghbor cost 10 coins. In order for someone to be your neighbor, they must first be your friend on Facebook/Myspace. Be careful about who you allow to be your friend and see your personal information. You can make 10 to 20 coins for tending a neighbor's farm. . You get 6 experience points for each farm you tend. To send gift, tend/visit, send message, or change your neighbors, simply click on the neighbor you wish to do so with.

To hire or get hired, you can go to the market place on the map. To hire someone, click on their avatar, then click either hire to harvest or hire to plow at your farm. When you click hire to plow you'll be prompted with a message explaining how hiring to plow works. Read it the first time and click the green tick. If you don't have anything to plow you'll be prompted with a message telling you so. If you get this message even though you know you have previously harvested fields, it is because you need to reload your farm after someone has harvested at least one field.

Hiring anyone to harvest other than yourself, you get 125% of the original sell price of your crops. To get hired, be polite in the market place, Stand alone, and ask for a job Please. Demanding work or repetive "plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" will get you ignored, not hired. Send buddy requests to people you work well with by clicking on their avatar so you can work with them in the future.

Selling your crops and gifts is easy. They go into your storage once harvested. Click on a crop in storage and it will take you to the market place. Click the crop to sell it. Gift are in your gift box, you do the same with them. to sell an item on your farm, you need eight neighbors, click the item and click to sell. You can also move items and tree by clicking on them.

Storage has a new feature. You already know this is where you harvested crops go but in storage you click the items tab to access items you have stored. To store an item, click on it and click add to storage. You get to two slots for items for each neighbor you have.

What's Annoying is when you get messages with promises of more coins or experience or warnings about losing your farm. These are called Hoax Messages. Don't pass them on. If you enter a chat room where you can't see anyone's avatar or name, leave try to enter a different room. Remember the game is still in Beta.

Now you have a good idea on how to get started and get ahead in Farm Town. Good luck and happy farming!

Please share this article to your friends. Thank You!

Farmtown: Guide To Good Farm Designs

HI Guys! Now we are going to discuss guide to good farm designs in Farmtown. This guide is a consolidation of creative minds of some of our Farmheaven friends who contributed and share their ideas to make this game a fun and exciting one.

Farm Town designs range from the pretty and practical to the elaborate and non-functional. Whether you're just looking to beautify your Farm Town farm, or build a virtual masterpiece, you can use these tips to create wonderful Farm Town designs.

Here are the guide to good farm designs:

Decide what you want to do with your Farm Town farm.
Farm Town is a computer farm game that lets you grow and harvest crops to earn cash, much like a traditional farm. However, play styles are endless. You can build massive farms devoted to crops, or you can balance your farm with a mix of buildings and equipment in addition to crops. If none of the above appeals to you, you can still create a Farm Town farm and devise elaborate and creative designs for your farm.

Elevation is an optical illusion.
One thing to remember when you're creating your farm design is that elevation is an optical illusion in Farm Town. Elevated designs come from "stacking" tiles behind and slightly off center of one another to give the illusion of elevation. You won't find any actual hills, waterfalls or any elevated features in the game, but you can create them with a little patience.

How to make hills.
If you want to make hills on your farm, you've got two options: either use boxes and flowers, or use hedges. For the boxes and flowers method, place a line of boxes in a row. Then plant flowers immediately in front of the boxes, and behind and one square over from the boxes. This gives the illusion of height and elevated dirt terraces, when you're not looking too closely. You can do the same thing with hedges; place a row of hedges in a line, and then place another row one block behind and one block over from the initial row. You'll see the illusion of a line of hedges parading up a hill.

How to make lakes.
You can make lakes or other bodies of water using river tiles and dirt paths. Start with a river corner. Add four dirt paths over your river tile; you'll need to place them on the grass first and then move them, as you cannot place dirt paths directly on water from the store. When you've got dirt paths over your river corner, place another river corner on top of the dirt, but slightly over. Then you can move your dirt paths over, and repeat by placing another water tile. Eventually, you'll have as many water tiles as you like and can remove the dirt paths entirely so it appears to be one large body of water.

How to make waterfalls.
Making waterfalls is similar to making lakes. Place a piece of river tile down where you want the base of your waterfall; preferably a piece with a v-shape bottom and a rounded back. Then place four dirt paths over the river tile. Place another river tile on top of the original, but offset it by one row. Then move the dirt paths onto the new river tile. Place another, and offset it again. Repeat. Eventually, you'll end up with a waterfall as many tiers high as you'd like. Add other elevation elements, such as hills or terraces, to complete the illusion.

Farmtown: Understanding Game Strategy

Hello friends! If you want to succeed in your farming game, please consider to learn good technique and understand the game strategy in Farm Town. A few Farm Town tips can help you turn your farm from a budding hobby to a beautiful and lucrative property. As you advance in experience and earn more money, more options are available to grow and beautify your farm.

Here are some of the strategies to understand in this cool Farm Town game:

Plant the right crops at the right times.
Crops take a certain amount of time to mature, but when they do, you have a finite window in which to harvest them. Therefore, it's important to plant the right crops at the right times. Grapes, for example, mature in four hours; wait too long after that, and they'll wither and you'll lose your entire crop. If you'll be able to log in after four hours to check your crops, plant grapes; otherwise, plant a crop that won't require you to log in as frequently.

Store and sell crops for more cash.
In Farm Town, if you harvest and sell your crops immediately, you get less cash than if you harvest and store your crops. The only catch with harvesting and storing is that you have the additional step of going to market to sell your crops. However, going to market only takes a minute or two, and it can yield you a lot of extra cash, so always store and sell your crops. Don't forget to go to market, though, or you can lose your crop.

Hire workers to make extra cash.
When you go to market, you perform two tasks: selling crops and hiring workers. If you hire workers to help with the tasks around your farm, you make 25% more on your crops than you would otherwise. Hiring workers also helps them to stockpile cash. If you want to make extra money on your harvests, or just avoid doing the work yourself, hire workers to earn extra cash and get some help around the farm.

Help your friends out for cash.
When you have neighbors on Farm Town, you can help them out in return for earning a few extra bucks. Sometimes, when you're playing, a dialog box pops up saying that your friend needs help and asking if you're willing. Otherwise, you can go to the My Neighbors tab to see if any of your neighbors need help. Simply follow the dialog boxes to help your neighbors out and earn cash. You may need to buy supplies in order to do it, though, so always keep a little cash on hand for the potential to earn more.

Buy items to earn experience.
Those decorative items you see in the store aren't just for show. You can earn experience points by adding these items to your farm. Some of them can get quite expensive, but it's a handy way to tap into more experience, especially at higher levels. Simply buy and place them on your property to receive the experience for each piece.

FarmCash is a scarce commodity.
Farm Town creators have added the concept of FarmCash to this computer farm game. You earn simple coins by selling crops and helping friends out, but those are stored separately from FarmCash. You earn FarmCash by unlocking certain achievements in the game, but there aren't a lot of opportunities to earn it, so it's a scarce commodity. Some items can be purchased only with FarmCash, so be careful how you spend it, or be prepared to fork over some cold, hard dollars in return for extra FarmCash.

Farmtown: Tips To Become A Good Farmtown Neighbor

Friends, here's a tip to become a good farmtown neighbor and gain more friends. To be a good neighbor in Farm Town, there are some ways to make your neighbors happy so they'll be a good neighbor in return.

Water neighbors flowers.
When your Farm Town farmer lands at a neighbor's farm, check out whether the flowers are in need of watering. Do this by scrolling across some flowers with the cursor. When flowers are fully watered, five blue drops of water appear. When flowers are dead, all of the drops are clear, indicating they need water. Click on the Tool Box in the lower right side of the brown tool bar. Select the watering can. Have your farmer walk around the neighbor's farm sprinkling dead flowers, or flowers that are running low on water with the sprinkling can. You will earn one coin for each flower watered. If the farmers whose flowers need to be watered did this job themselves, they would have to pay one coin per flower.

Send neighbors gifts.
Each day Farm Town neighbors can send each other gifts for free by clicking on the Send Gifts tab at the upper left part of the screen. Ask neighbors what gifts they want so you'll be able to send useful gifts. Some farmers like to plant a certain type of tree or flower, and if their neighbors send those items as gifts, it saves them from having to spend their Farm Town coins in the store.

Farmtown: Tips for Faster Farming

Hello Guys! The following simple tips can help Farm Town farmers gauge their progress or actually move up the levels faster in Farm Town:

Here is the Farmtown: Tips for Faster Farming:
Know how many points are needed to move to the next level. Farmers move up levels by getting more experience points from plowing other farmers' farms (one point per field plowed) or by watering, raking, or pulling weeds at a neighbor's farm (6 points). It's useful to know how many more experience points are needed to get to the next level. Place the cursor over the current level, shown in a green circle at the top center of the screen. A small cartoon balloon appears under it that reads ">>> points to level >>>." The first >>> refers to the number of experience points needed to get to the next level, which is indicated by the second >>>.

Hope this post helps.

Farmtown: The "Freeze Animal" Fix

Farmtown: Tree Positioning

Here's another tip for tree positioning in Farmtown.  How do you position your trees for maximum harvesting? Well here’s the funny thing, you don’t need to physically REACH the trees. There’s a glitch that allows you to grab them from afar if your character can’t physically walk to them.

The most space-conserving way to do this would be to place them directly beside each other. Granted it makes harvesting a bit irritating, but it allows for planting a massive army of trees!

The Trees appear as red squares when "Show Trees" is disabled in Preferences.

Tips:
Some people have found that you can hover around the trees and get to them pretty easily. It does take some times, and there are times where you will get to a farm with trees almost impossibly close together and just apologize for leaving, but you just can’t get to them.

If it's your own farm your harvesting on, you can just hide the individual tree once you have harvested it then go somewhere else and when you farm reloads, all the trees are back.

Hope this helps. Please share this post.

What the Little Envelope Means in Farmtown

Hi Guys! Here's an explanation of what the little envelope means in Farmtown game.
This little envelope which can be found to the left of your XP (progress) bar is the internal mailing system on Farm Town. It lets you read messages that others have sent you. You can reply to these messages by opening the message and clicking reply.

Why is there this function on my farm?
Why not?
In fact, internal messaging lets you communicate with farmers who are not online. You can visit their farms and leave a message by using the "Send Message" option on the neighbour bar or from your "buddy list". This is how you can send a message to people rather than using the reply option detailed above. You can simply click on an avatar and select "Send Message" from the menu that appears.

How do I keep messages?
All in all, you can have 10 messages in your inbox. You can not save the messages directly to your inbox. If you want to make reference to certain messages in future why not make a screenshot or transcribe them to a word document.

Where are my sent messages?
In the person's inbox to whom you have sent! In fact, you can not keep a copy of your sent messages.

How do I know if I have a new message?
On the envelope you can sometimes see a red dot with a white number inside. This number indicates that you have a certain corresponding amount of unread messages. (Click the envelope to view the messages)

How do I send messages?
1. By visiting the farm of one of your friends and clicking on the message icon (above the neighbours bar).
2. Using the same icon in your "buddy list".
3. By clicking in the neighbour bar and selecting "Send Message".
4. By clicking on an avatar and choosing "Send Message" from the pop-up menu.

What is the little green man at the bottom of messages?
In the bottom right hand corner of messages you receive you'll find that there is a little green man. If you click it you'll find on the farm of the person who sent you the message! This allows you to go directly to the farm of the person who sent the message.

Why are some of my neighbours not receiving my messages?
They may have accidentally ignored you in-game which would prevent this. Ask them to verify that you are not in the list of blocked users (Account tab > Blocked Users). Once they have you removed from this list, they again receive the messages you send them.

Why is it that I can not write my messages in full screen mode?
Adobe (which develops and distributes Flash support for Farm Town) blocked access to the keyboard in full screen mode for security reasons. This means it is not possible to chat or send messages in full screen mode.

Plants vs Zombies: Sun Production

Guys, here's a tip that will increase your sun production and improve your game in Plants vs Zombies.

From the go, you will want to start planting as many Sunflowers (or Sun-shrooms at night) as you can. In general, your aim should be to plant around 10 to 12 sunflowers total.

Situation: A zombie approaches, and I must choose to plant an attack plant, or another sunflower.
Your choice depends on how far away the zombie is, and your current amount of suns.

In the pool-level, you will be rewarded with a Twin Sunflower, which will produce two suns at once.

Do not plant this untill you have planted all the sunflowers you are going to, since the extra costs can be better used.

While you can use sunflowers at night, their extra costs don't weigh up to the initial extra sun production, so it's best to use just sunflowers during the day, and just sun-shrooms during the night.

Hope this post will be helpful to all of you. Please consider sharing to your friends. Thanks!

Plants vs Zombies: Know the Zombie Strategies

Hello friends, here are some important tips in knowing the strategies of the zombies in the very popular game Plants vs Zombies.

Zombie strategies

The game has a very nifty Suburban Almanac, which can be found in the main menu, that shows you a description of all the zombies you have encountered. In this section, I will give some additional hints on how to best take on some of those thougher zombies.

Pole Vaulting zombie jumps over the first plant he encounters, so if you encounter him in a level, make sure you have a back-up.

Buckethead zombies are tough critters, that take a lot of damage before going back to being undead; up to 5 times as much. Consider a squash or other one-hit wonders if you don't have the artillery to bring them down. A magnet-shroom will make your life with these zombies much easier though.

Screen Door zombies are very though with their screen door shield, but if you use a magnet-shroom to take the door, or a fume-shroom to shoot through the door, they will be down soon enough. It is adviced to plant a fume-shroom as soon as you see these guys enter the screen though.

Football zombies are though like the buckethead zombies, but are also fast! Same strategy applies, but you'll have to act faster. U can use magnet shroom here also.

Dancing zombie is a nightmare, not just because he fails to see how his carreer is over, being dead and all. As soon as you see him, kill him with anything immediate, like a squash or cherry bomb, before he summons a bunch of Backup Dancers.

Snorkel zombies swim underwater, but will have to come up to get past a barrier like a lily pad. Unless you have a tangle kelp to take these zombies out, their consuming your plants is ur chance to take them down.

Zomboni is a zombie on a zamboni, and very though because of that. Even worse, he crushes your plants and leaves a trail of ice behind him, which opens the way to the Zombie Bob Sled Team and the Zombie Yeti. Take him out as fast as possible, with a Jalapeno or Squash. A Jalapeno will also melt the ice trail he left.

Dolphin Rider zombies are your worst nightmare in the pool, as they are very fast and jump over your first plant. A trick to still catch him is by planting a tangle kelp. somehow its the only one that catches him before he jumps.

Jack-in-the-box zombies are fast, but other then that, pose no big threat.

Balloon zombies think they're smart by floating over your attack plants, but are easily taken down by a cactus or a blover.

Digger zombies are tricky zombies that dig through your garden, come out at the other end and eat their ways through your plants from the back. Use split-peas to have a guard against them, or a magnet-shroom or potato mine to stop them in their underground tracks.

Pogo zombies jump over nearly every plant you put in front of him, but is stopped short by a magnet-shroom.

Bungee zombies are death from above. Just before they drop down, you will see a bulls-eye appear on the ground, and before you know it, they've come and gone with one of your plants. The umbrella leaf is your only defense against them, though you could catch them with a Jalapeno, but in general, it's best to just take your loss.

Gargantuar is, well, gargantuan, and so is his toughness. The chances of killing him with normal attacks are so slim, you're best of with a squash, cherry bomb or jalapeno. Preferably before he throws his Imp friend behind your lines.

Dr. Zomboss is the big boss of all the zombies, and appears only in the last level. It's a long fight, and he will annoy with his random throwing of vans, and deployment of bungee zombies, but he also has his weaknesses that can give you the edge.

When he puts his head down, is when your pult-plants can attack him. Use an Ice-shroom to freeze him, and give your plants longer to attack. You can freeze him again when he comes down for a second time, after defreezing.

Plants vs Zombies: Plant Tactics

Here is another useful plant tactics in Plants vs Zombies game.

To increase your plant growth
First of all you need to disable the full screen then go to your zen garden
after feeding the plants normally it take 30min or feed them again.
to feed them all you have to do is to change your system time for earlier this will
increase the growth & also buy more plants from Crazy guy.

Favorite Plants:
----------------
Even if you have "favorite" plants that you like to use, mix it up and use a plant
that might be out of your "comfort zone". The game is fairly forgiving of less than
perfect play, and you might find that blowing up zombies in a conflagration of
potato wedges or smashing them with a squash is more fun that you thought it would
be!

Increase plant growth:
----------------------
Disable full screen mode. Go to your zen garden. After feeding the plants, it will
normally take thirty minutes to feed them again. To feed them all, change the system
time to an earlier value. This will increase their growth.

Plants vs Zombies: Useful Tactics

Guys, here's are some Plants vs Zombies useful tactics that you can use to advance into different levels faster.

-=World 1=-
This area is very easy, and is mainly just a tutorial to the game, Use whatever
plants you have, this early in the game. But make sure you have peashooters and
sunflowers.

-=World 2=-
Now this is when it gets a bit harder, the sun no longer falls from the sky,
what I did was i used puff shrooms (the free mushrooms you get) and sun shrooms,
then when I got that set up I would start setting up peashooters and repeaters.
And at the end of the level, zombies spawn from the graves, so try to take them
out early in the level (P.S. The graves give some good stuff, crystals, plants,
and sun)

-=World 3=-
Ok you made it this far, now we are dealing with a completely different kind of
strategy, what I did was I got lilipads, cattails (cattails are VERY strong,
they can attack any lane, and they shoot two spikes at a time) I also had wall-
nuts, cherry bombs (for emergencies) peashooters and repeaters. You want to make
each lane equally strong. And make sure you buy the pool cleaners, they help a
lot.

-=World 4=-
Ahh world 4, the hardest world in my opinion, basically its world 3 but you cant
see half the screen, luckily you get a plantern in a level or two and you can see
it then. I was stuck here for a while, but when I used cattails it was so much
easier, just use the strategy from 3 and 4, i recommend at this point using sun
flowers, and garden rakes (can be bought in Crazy Dave's shop for 200$" You
REALLY want to use the torchwood, seeing as how they make your peas to DOUBLE
damage. I personally have never really used the snow peas, but if your
comfortable with them go ahead.

-=World 5=-
And last but not least, the roof level, make sure you buy the roof cleaners,
you will need them. Here is what I did the whole time, first two columns are
sun flowers, third column is cabbagepults, fourth column is corn pults, and
fifth column is tall-nuts. When you get the melonpults I suggest replacing
column two with them. As for cob pults, dont use them, they take too long,
and they're not that good. Bungee zombies are best countered by umbrella
leaves. Get one or two in each row, NO MORE, they protect the eight squares
surrounding them, and their own. And my last tip for World 5, is gargantuans,
here's the thing, if they didn't throw the imp off of their back, then cherry
bombs would be all you need, however, I would advise using a cherry bomb,
then using a jalapeno on the row, to kill the imp and the gargantuan.

-=Dr. Zomboss=-
This boss is very hard the first few times you fight him, so try doing this.
Save all the ice shrooms and jalapenos you get, you need them to destroy his
fire/ice balls. use all the other plants strategically to fight off the normal
zombies. You WILL have to use ice shrooms and jalapenos occasionally, jsut save
as many as you can.

How To Expand Your Farm in Farmtown

Hello friends, here's a simple tutorial on how to expand your farm in Farmtown. To expand your farm, go to the real estate agency. Six expansions are available for your farm. You must make your additions in order. This means to buy the expansion to 16x16, you must have the required level and have already bought the 14x14 level. Once purchased, it disappears from the list of available upgrades.

Whatever you have to buy next is always the first in the list. Once all the available land purchased, the purchase page is empty. Just click confirm when purchasing the upgrade, reload the game and hey presto!

* Upgrade: 14x14 : Requires level 15 and 20,000c
* Upgrade: 16x16 : Requires level 17 and 25,000c
* Upgrade: 18x18 : Requires level 19 and 30,000c
* Upgrade: 20x20 : Requires level 21 and 35,000c
* Upgrade: 22x22 : Requires level 23 and 40,000c
* Upgrade: 24x24 : Requires level 25 and 80,000c

The same process for purchase applies to the second farm. The first purchase for your second farm costs 3,000,000c can also be paid for less in FarmCash.

The last thing is that largest farm size is 24x24, and will never extend beyond that for technical reasons, mainly down to the fact that the server load is too heavy.

Farmtown Data Sheet Update

Hi Guys!, here's an update on Farmtown data sheet. It is a very helpful data that provides latest information on almost everything to keep your farming game improve.  The Farm Town Data Sheet is a work in progress and is intended to provide a reference point for farmers wondering what to plant, what things cost, how many points does it take to level up, how many points do I get if I buy X, etc.

If you've played a farm game before you'll know that crop debates are always the rage. Here you have to add the factor of how quickly you earn the points that allow you to increase levels against the coins you need to buy your farm bling. There are probably no right answers and no wrong answers, but this will help you be informed. Note: there are multiple tabs across the top of this data sheet.

If you are interested in having a copy of the file and tweaking it yourself, here's a link to the most up-to-date Farm Town Data Sheet. An ongoing discussion of the best crops to grow is located in this forum post http://www.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1171

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Tips and Tricks: Collecting Power Stars

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Collecting Power Stars

Collecting all 120 Power Stars isn’t too difficult in the long run. I’d say that the more difficult levels tend to be ones where motion controls are required, such as gliding or using the giant rolling balls. Get those out of the way first so as to alleviate stress later on. Two trains of thought dictate that when coming to a particularly difficult star you either A. Take a break from that star and go onto something different, or B. Struggle through it until you succeed. I’m very much of the second option, but that doesn’t work for everyone. Sometimes the best course of action is simply shutting the game off and allowing yourself to unwind for a bit.

Once you’ve collected all 120 stars and beaten Bowser yet again, you’ll learn of the Green Stars. These will double the number of stars in the game. Take stock of your skills at this point and above all take a break. It can be soul crushing to see Trickster Comets hit every single level again, right after you’ve just “finished” the game in your mind.

Farmtown Technical Information Update

TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT FARMTOWN.

1. Flash animations, like those used in Farm Town, have a tendency to frequently time out on a dial up connection. Flash occupies a lot of your internet bandwidth and may cause Farm Town to take a long time to load. Hence, you will almost always have issues with dial-up.
2. The more you add to your farm the riskier it will become for people at lower levels of RAM. Anyone with 2GB of RAM for XP or OSX and 3-4 for Vista should be fine on most farms.
3. It has also become apparent that, the more animals, overlaps and green hedges you have on your farm, the more problems this will create because of the amount of flash required. Other farmers entering your farm may find it extremely difficult to walk around and harvest for you as it will slow down their Avatars.
4. Regular computer maintenance is very important for Farm Town to work properly. Cleaning your Cache is crucial on the minimum of once daily.

U00 & CANT CONNECT TO MAINFRAME
Symptoms: Cannot see others in the market, chat messages not coming through
Reason: the MPS (Media Processing Server?) is overloaded
Workaround: None advised.
Solution: Clicking the green ok and you should reconnect, unless the server is under extreme strain. Firewalls & routers may also be blocking your connection.

XLINK
Reason: DB or WEB servers are overloaded or your internet connection has failed
Workaround: None advised.
Solution: Clicking the green ok and you should reconnect, unless the server is under extreme strain. Firewalls & routers may need to be reset.

TIMEOUTS
Reason: #1 reason is people try to go faster than their current connection can handle. Slow internet connections, low memory pc's or a minimal pc at an overloaded farm of animals and or hedges. And of course overloaded servers are an issue with this error at times as well.
Workaround:
1. Make sure you are waiting for coins to be added before clicking on new fields. DO NOT repeatedly click again, if it says BUSY, then it is.
2. Right click on screen, set quality to low.
3. Work from North to South or North to West
4. Turn off music, buildings, trees & flowers. Freeze animals, & Unclick follow
Avatar
5. Regularly clear your Cache
6. Click SAVE and the reconnect may disappear, just be certain you are still getting paid.
7. WORK OFFLINE & If possible let the farm owner know before you do it & the owner may need to refresh to see their harvest in storage. Also I would only recommend this if you are the ONLY harvester, or the crops have been equally divided between the harvesters. (If not, then you run into issues with not receiving coins)
8. Buddy up or send farmer a note asking them to reply, so you have a way back to the farm.

F01
Reason: This typically means that your router, firewall, or antivirus program is blocking Farm Town.

RUNTIME ERRORS
Reason: In most cases, runtime errors are actually problems in your Windows system rather than the program trying to operate and are subsequently causing the error message.
A common source of runtime errors is a corrupt registry which causes programs to malfunction. For example, the runtime error #7 which means a memory problem may not really have anything to do at all with a shortage of memory on your computer - rather is could be a problem resting in the file structure of your computer which causes your program to malfunction. Ask Nerd.net Please note that this take you off the forum to a techy site, which I find very useful.

X025
Reason: X025 is the nastiest error ever hit. More than most, X025 seems to relate to issues communicating over the Internet you usually get it when your ISP decides you have been online too long and disconnects. Therefore you need to minimize the amount of Internet traffic to and from your computer.
Workaround: None

Tips to minimize these errors:
1. Do not run other applications while playing FT, especially if they access the Internet. CLOSE your email program. Don't run chat programs (except maybe Facebook's chat feature). Do not run more than one browser window. Don't try to download files in the background. Don't even try to play music stored on your hard drive! As far as possible FT must be the only thing your computer is doing.
2. If your browser uses tabs, do not have more than one tab (your FT tab) open at a time. Running multiple tabs is less risky than running multiple browser windows, but every tab uses memory and bandwidth. It's tempting to read the forum or surf while your avatar sits in the Marketplace, but if you do you risk a connection error.
3. (The advanced option.) Close down unnecessary "services" and processes, where you can identify them, especially if they like to talk to some home base across the Internet A lot of programs (FTP, Messenger, etc) like to run a little "stub" in the background so that when you open them they open faster; but everything uses memory and bandwidth. The more RAM and bandwidth that is used by such wasters, the less is available for Flash (Farm Town uses Flash); and once FT starts using virtual memory (your hard drive) an error is often not far away.
4. Things not to close unless really, really desperate: firewall, antivirus and antispyware.

GREEN SCREEN
Reason: This seems to be 100% server related.
Workaround: Try connecting through your neighbors to access a different server.

STUCK ON LOADING USER
Reason: Sometimes it's as simple as clearing your Cache, but other times it is more complicated.
The developers have stated the following are possible reasons:
Double stacked plots
Stacked items such as trees planted over fields
A large number of hedges
An antivirus or firewall program blocking some part of Farm Town from loading.
Workaround: Farm town won't Load

ASSERT IN LSP
Reason: Error in Google Desktop application.
Workaround: Disable Google Desktop.

Please share this important article to all of your friends. Thanks! Happy Farming.

How to Speed Up Farmtown in your PC

Guys, sometimes we noticed some loading issues on our computer right? Here are some of the remedies to that problem in our PC. Further to clearing browser cache and history to ‘clean’ the system, there will be a cdn. folder in your computer’s C drive which collects corrupt and ‘trash’ files from flash-based games such as Farm Town. Clearing this can help with some issues, such as connection errors, loading issues, and sometimes problems with chat, hiring and invisibility on the game.

This is to be used ONLY after all other suggestions have failed, and ONLY if you are confident about deleting files within the root drive of your computer.
You need to have administrator access to your PC in order to do this.

The name of the folder is cdn.slashkey.com, and it will typically be found in the Macromedia folder on C:\ drive. This folder contains all of flash player’s cached files, and clearing it forces a ‘rebuild’ of the information so that the new connection to the game is completely clean (like a new start).

To search for it, go to start menu > search > files folder > and enter cdn.slashkey.com. Make sure your Internet Browser is closed, and no other files are open, or you will get an error. Select the folder and delete it.

Reboot your computer before reloading the browser and logging back into Farm Town. This recreates the folder with fresh contents and server information, and forces an update of your system in relation to the game.

Happy Farming!

Troubleshooting Problems in Farmtown

Guys, remember that there are many problems in Farmtown that can be solved with a quick bit of trouble shooting. By doing one or two quick things you can find your buildings, plant four fields at a time and cure many ails.

HELP ! I can't access Farm Town any more!
Don't panic, the application must be blocked by Facebook.

To unblock Farm Town :
  1. Connect to Facebook
  2. On the top right corner, click on "Account"
  3. Click on "Privacy settings"
  4. Click on "Applications and Websites"
  5. Click on "Edit Blocked Applications"
  6. Search for "Farm Town"
  7. Click on "remove" juste near the application
  8. Go back to your farm, allow your application to access your profile information

You're done! If you're lost, just click here and start to step 6.

I just bought a building and as soon as I set it down it disappeared.

Nine times out of ten this is due to the fact that you do not have your buildings set to show. Click on the wrench, and place a check in the box that says "Show Buildings". You may need to refresh your browser page before your buildings will appear.

You may also need to clear your browser. Click here for instructions for clearing nearly every browser. Clearing your browser should always be your first step. An amazing number of problems can be solved by clearing your browser.

These same instructions hold for trees and flowers that disappear as soon as you purchase them.

If your building or trees or other purchase still does not show up you will need to click on the word "contact" at the very bottom of the browser page on which you are playing the game. Note this is not the word contact at the bottom of the page here in the forum. Refunds are never processed through the forum. You must use the contact link and request your refund from the support staff at Slashkey.

My big seeder will only plant one field at a time.

This is caused by not having the "remove spaces between fields" checked. Click on the wrench, place a check in the box that says "remove spaces between fields". You may have to refresh your browser to before you start planting.

My plower will only plow one field at a time.

This is the same as the seeder. See above for instructions for setting your preferences.

My seeder will not plant more than one field at a time.

Along with checking your preferences you also must purchase the seeds by clicking on the seeder. If you click on the store icon instead you will only be able to plant one field at a time. Click on the seeder then click on buy sees.

The game gets stuck on a green screen and never opens.

This is different from the stuck on loading user and usually means that some part of the game is being blocked by one or more of your security programs on your computer. It may take a bit of detective work. Check each and every one of your security programs, including your antivirus program, malware program, firewall (including the router firewall if you use a router). Remember you are looking for Slashkey not Farm Town. If you see any thing that includes the word Slashkey in any of the blocked areas mark it as safe.

The game gets stuck past the green screen and will not load.

This is a much trickier problem and can be caused by many things. Even the devs are stumped by this one for many of the users. First always try clearing your browser. See above for the link if you need instructions for clearing your browser.

One thing that does seem to hinder farms when they try to load is an abundance of a certain item. If you bought 500 hay bales in order to level up you may have a hard time loading your farm. The same holds true for having a lot of flowers. The green hedges especially present a problem for many people.

There are several official posts in the help section of the forum with more in depth information on this problem.

I did an offer for free coins or Farm Cash and never got what was promised to me.

Unfortunately we cannot help you here on the forum as these are third party offers. Please read the Official thread for more information. If you do not have any luck you may use the "contact" link at the very bottom of the browser window on which you have the game open. Note this is not the word contact at the bottom of the forum page. Fill out the form that pops up to send your concern to the support staff at Slashkey.

I just deleted something by accident, can I get it back or get my money back.

Again refunds are never processed through the forum. You can try using the contact link at the bottom of the game page and request a refund from the support staff. It is not a given that you will receive a refund due to the fact you are given a warning pop up when you delete items.

I cannot click on an animal to move it.

The animals on Farm Town have been stubborn creatures from day one of the game. Sometimes if you zoom in very close you can get them to highlight. Other times clearing your browser will help. You can also try unchecking the "freeze animals" box if you have had it checked. Let them wander a bit and try again. At other times you will just have to wait them out and try a different day to move them.

Remember to share this very important article to your friends. Cheers!

Gifts of Fuel Update

Hello farmheaven friends! Here is a gift of fuel update for your farm. Please note that following the introduction of the oil refinery, the 'use' option is no longer available for gifted fuel. You now have the choice to either leave the fuel in the gift box or send it to storage.

Once it's in storage, you can either sell it, or leave it there for future use.

To refuel.. go to the fuel station by either clicking on the map, or on the fuel can icon at the top left of the game screen. When you refuel, ALL fuel cans will be collected from both the gift box and the storage area.

Gift box fuel will show as 'gifted fuel' and stored fuel will show as 'refinery fuel' (this still applies even if you don't have the refinery on your farm)

You do not need to sell the fuel if you don't want to. You can use all available fuel cans in gifts or storage when you refuel via the map or the fuel icon.

Please share this article to your friends. Thanks!

Farmtown Crops And Products Disappearing From Storage

Hello Farmtown friends! If you have problems about disappearing crops and products from your storage, please read this article. Slashkey are working with the developers regarding the problem of crops and items produced in the facilities disappearing from the storage bin. At this time they have not been told if there is a specific limit to the number of harvested crops and items from your facilities that may be kept in storage.

Please post in this thread only if you have had harvested crops or items produced in your facilities disappear from your storage bin or not make it into your storage bin. This thread is not for missing coins from selling harvests. This thread is only for crops or produced items from your facilities that do not make it into your storage bin, or disappear from the storage bin.

This problem does not appear to be related to a specific server.

What we do need to know is how much you had in your storage bin before you attempted to store the last items that either disappeared or never made it to the storage bin.

In order to keep the information straight for the developers any posts which are not related to this subject will be deleted. Please post questions about missing coins in the proper thread.

Slashkey will keep this thread updated with information from the developers.

Safari Tips and Tricks: Lazy Domain Search

Safari Tips and Tricks: Lazy Domain Search

Normally you have to type a full domain to gain access to a website eg http://www.farmheaven.com. But this is for people with far too much time on their hands. A quicker way is to simply type the main part of the domain plus the TLD, and then any subdirectory. (e.g farmheaven.com/archive). This again takes far to long. If you want to be a speed freak,  you can simply type, in the address bar of Safari, farmheaven/archive.

This will automatically add http://, add the tld (in this case .com) and take you to the sub-directory. This works for most cases, since I think Safari will do a quick Google search to check its got the right information. If you are accessing a local variant of a popular domain name, you may end up in the wrong place.

Mafia Wars Tips: Quick Leveling in Mafia Wars

Mafia Wars Tips: Quick Leveling in Mafia Wars

It can be a bit confusing logging into Mafia Wars for the first time, though. There’s a lot going on, and unlike other Zynga games like FishVille and CafĂ© World, Mafia Wars doesn’t quite follow the same layout as FarmVille. Nevertheless, you’ll be able to get the hang of it pretty quickly, especially if your goal is to merely reach level 10.

The key to leveling up quickly in Mafia Wars is making good use of your Energy. Just like in FarmVille, you have to earn Experience Points to level up, but in order to get those Experience Points, you have to do Jobs. You’ll have a few Jobs to choose from at the outset, and the number of those options will increase as you move up to new levels. What is constant about all of the Jobs, though, is that they all require Energy to complete.

Skill Points

Each time you reach a new level or master a Job (achieved by doing that job over and over again), you’ll be awarded some Skill Points. You’ll then be able to apply these Skill Points to different aspects of your character. If you were actually playing Mafia Wars long term, you might want to spread your Skill Points around by putting a few into each category.

When you’re just trying to level up quickly, however, all you want to do is dump all of your Skill Points into increasing your maximum Energy. With more energy, you can do more Jobs, level up quickly and unlock that Hot Rod Tractor. And who knows? You may wind up liking Mafia Wars a whole lot more than you expected.

Enjoy!

May 28 Update: 4th Farm in Farmtown

Guys, here's a new update from Slashkey last May 28, 2010. It is about how to purchase your 4th farm in Farmtown.

Land:

You can now buy a 4th farm. The requirement is to have a 3rd farm. These are the prices in coins and farm cash:

12x12 farm: ....... 4M coins ..... 40 fc
14x14 upgrade: .... 1M coins ..... 20 fc
16x16 upgrade: .... 2M coins ..... 20 fc
18x18 upgrade: .... 3M coins ..... 20 fc
20x20 upgrade: .... 15M coins .... 20 fc
22x22 upgrade: .... 20M coins .... 20 fc
24x24 upgrade: .... 30M coins .... 20 fc

Ponds:

The Sea Coast items (big and small) are now also available for the opposite sides of the farm.

Market:

When you sell a product in the Market, the window doesn't scroll to the top anymore, making it easier to sell products.

Storage:
Some users were losing products because the harvest/product storage was full, we increased the size of the storage but it's not unlimited, when the harvest storage is about to get full, we will show a message to the user so they can sell or use some products to make some room, now with the scroll issue fixed, it should be easier to sell products.
