Safari Tips and Tricks: Dragging in Files

Safari Tips and Tricks: Dragging in Files

Safari, like many Mac applications, supports dragging in files from the Finder or other applications such as iPhoto. If you just drag a file into a regular browser window, however, all it will do is display the file in a Safari window. The useful part comes when a website is asking for you to upload a file. Instead of clicking ‘Choose File’, you can drag the file you want to use and drop it directly on the button.

A small green plus sign will appear next to your cursor, and the file is selected, no matter how deeply nested it is on your hard drive. This is a small thing, but it can save a lot of time if you have a file open in the Finder already before you upload it to a website.

1) Set up your defenses around the slot machine. Try for one row of wallnuts on the right side, one or two rows of sunflowers on the left, and fill everything else with pea and snow pea shooters.

2) Protect the lawn mowers. Each are worth a Gold Coin at the end of the game, so don't let them mow the zombies.

Friends and Neighbors in Farmville

Here are some guide in understanding the important roles of your farmville friends and neighbors. Some of you might really neglect them but in reality they play an important factor in your farming success. So here are some simple explanations about your Farmville friends and neighbors.

Neighbors are Facebook Friends
In the facebook game farmville, neighbors are facebook friends that you have invited to be your neighbors. If they accept your invitation to be a farmville neighbor they will show up in your neighbors panel at the bottom of the farmville screen. Neighbors must be a facebook friend. There is no other way to invite them.

Adding lots of Neighbors Without Sharing Information
Having lots of neighbors is the best way to level up and expand. To do it safely follow these tips.

Helping Neighbors
All Neighbors are shown in the panel at the bottom of the farmville screen. By clicking on a neighbor from the bar, you open a menu that has an option to visit that friend. When visiting a friend you haven't done a job for that day you will get an offer to perform a job to help that player. Performing a job awards experience and money. Invite new friends from the INVITE page and invite friends to be neighbors from the MY NEIGHBORS page.

Fertilizing Friends Crops
When you help a neighbor you receive points. When you visit their farm you may be asked to help pick weeds, chase raccoons away, or some other task. Once the task is complete a fertilizer icon will appear and you cursor will have a fertilizer bag. You must fertilize before leaving or the bags will be gone when you come back.

Sending Gifts
Sending gifts to neighbors is a great way to get gifts in return, Every time you send a gift there is a chance that a neighbor will return the favor. It is especially good if your neighbors are at a high level since they can send you better gifts. The most common gifts are trees, animals, and decorations.

If you like this article you might consider to share this with this friends. Once again Happy Farming!

Additional Info for Farmville Coop

Here's an additional info for farmville coop system. Cooperative farming ventures are short term 2 to 4 day jobs where several neighbors of the person starting a project raise crops to reach a common goal. One way you might learn of a project is when a neighbor posts to your newsfeed via FarmVille. You'll see a message on your newsfeed saying "name of neighbor" wants friends to help with their cooperative. For example: "Please help me plant grapes". To join the effort you'd click on "join this coop".

Another way to discover which coop jobs are available is from the main game screen. In the tools menu the third item (just above the gift box) lets you find out which of your neighbors are taking the lead role. You can look through the tasks and pick one you know you can help complete within the time limit. Or, if you feel like leading one of the projects you can do that.

It's good to know the total number of plots you have on your farm so you can calculate which coop task to join. You will also want to keep in mind when your current crop will be harvested. Takes a bit of thought.

After you've joined a coop, you plant whatever crop is needed, on your OWN farm, just like you normally would plant. When it matures you harvest it just as you would normally. Your part of the group effort brings you a reward of XP when the last person in the effort completes the harvest of the crop. Most of the tasks provide about 500 to 950 XP to each person who helped raise the crops for the job on their own farm. A very small quantity of coins is also part of the reward. (They ought to fix that and make it proportional.)

Important: If you are the person who completes the job, please remember to click "Share" or your neighbors will not receive the XP and coin bonus.

These are short term things and once you've picked up the reward for your part of the group effort, you are free to join another, with the same people, a mixture of new and old, or with another group of people if you wish. The jobs last about 2 to 4 days. Not all the people in the coop need to be neighbors, only the person who starts the particular coop job.

For example, one of the task requires raising 1275 grapes, to produce dye. This probably will require at least 3 people (more likely 4 or 5, depending on how many plots can be planted by each person) working on each of their own farms to harvest enough grapes in the 2 or 3 day period allowed. How quickly the work is completed determines the XP reward. There are three levels of rewards, Gold, Silver and Bronze with more bonus XP for getting the task done quickly.

Hope this helps! Happy Farming!

Plants vs Zombies: How to Make Money From Walnut Bowling

Here's how to Make Money From Walnut Bowling in Plants vs Zombies game.

1) Protect the Lawnmowers -- Each Mower is worth one gold coin ($250).

2) Line up shots off the front runner. After the first zombie is hit, each additional zombie strike generates coins.

3) Create a front runner where none exists! Pole vaulting zombies run fast until they vault over a nut, and the newspaper zombie runs fast after getting the paper destroyed by a nut. Just let them run a little bit down the lawn before sending a nut their way.

4) Just because you have nuts does not mean you have to use them. This is where "Nerves of Steel" comes into play. When there are a few zombies ambling down the lawn without a clear ricochet shot, wait a little bit to see if more of their friends will step out to play. They can always be killed once they cross the red line.

5) Remember how many nuts it takes to kill a zombie; this is important when the cross the red line. Use one nut for regular zombies, three for bucket wearing zombies, and two for the rest.

6) Reserve the exploding nuts. Try not to use those nuts unless a mob crosses the line, or there are not enough nuts or room to clear out a hard to kill zombie. Use the regular walnuts for the zombies that have not reached the red line.

7) Don't use exploding nuts to kill pole vaulting zombies directly. Pole vaulting zombies only jump obstacles in their own lane. A pole vaulting zombie who has not vaulted yet will safely jump over explosions or nuts in their own lane; so find a neighbor in the next lane and time the nut to hit when the pole vaulting zombie gets close to the neighbor.

Hope that helps. Please Share this article if you find it useful. Thanks!

Guide To Farmville Coop

How are you guys? Now were going to talk about Guide to Farmville Coop. Well, the new farmville co-op system allows formers to work together with their neighbors. It is all about completing tasks as quickly as possible. First the folks in farmville will ask for help in completing farming jobs. You can post a message on your wall to recruit neighbors to help get the job done. You need to grow enough crops before the time expires. The faster you finish, the bigger your ultimate reward.

You may access the Coop Farming Function by clicking on its new icon designated in your toolbar. Once you click this icon you will be able to see your neighbor requests for help, current jobs, job history, and Ribbons earned. Because of the addition of the new Coop farming icon, the red "Delete Tool" icon has been moved to the "Multi" button.

How to Decide What Job to Join
Before joining a coop job you should look at a few things.

1. How much time is left on the job and how much has been seeded/harvested so far. If there is not a lot of time left and not enough has been seeded/harvested there is a chance the job will fail and you will not get any bonus coins or XP.
2. What is the total XP and Coin reward for the job
3. How long do the crops needed take to be ready for harvesting.
4. How many members are in the coop. If it is early it is OK if there are not a lot of members but if the job is more than half way through and there are only one or two members, chance of success are diminished.

This screen shows all farmville coop jobs available to join. You can see the reward and the time remaining for each job on this screen. Kepp in mind that the reward shown is if th gold medal is achieved. If the group finishes the job in gold medal time, there is a bonus prize (shown in the table below)

If you click the join button it will show you the stats on that job. You have the opportunity to cancel after viewing the stats so don't worry about clicking join.

When you click join you will see the status of this farmville coop job. In the screen below you can see that the job has been 100% seeded with plenty of time left. This job will most likely receive the gold medal since pumpkins take 8 hours to ripen and there are 12 hours remaining. The only thing that could jeopardize it is if member do not harvest their pumpkins in time.

Farmville Coop Ribbon Rewards

The Coop function will also include its own set of Ribbon rewards to earn. Additionally you will be able to earn Gold, Silver, or Bronze statuses. The following Ribbons can be achieved through Coop farming:

* Employee of the Month Ribbon- Every job that you help a friend complete will earn a Gold medal and counts towards this ribbon.

* Fabulous Foreman Ribbon- Every job that you start that gets completed with a Gold medal will count towards this ribbon.

* Best of the Rest Ribbon- Every job that gets you the MVP award counts toward this ribbon. MVPs contribute the highest percentage of work toward completion.

Happy Farming!

Tips On Farmville Decorations

Guys here's a question. Why do we need to decorate our farm? Why do we need farmville decorations? Well, this tips on Farmville decorations will surely answer those questions. So continue reading these farmville decoration tips.

There are several reasons to add decorations to you farm in farmville. First is to make it look nice when you neighbors come to visit and help. The second reason to add decorations in farmville is to gain experience points.

Gaining Experience Points
Every time you add a decoration to your farm in farmville you gain experience points. Every decoration has a different XP value. Some of the highest XP/cost items are the different hay bails.

Helping Neighbors Level Up
Sending neighbors decorations will help them level up. Gifts are the best way to get decorations in farmville because they do not cost anything,

Leveling Up With Hay Bales
If you need 100 or so points to level up, hay bales would be the way to go. Hay bales only cost 100 coins in FarmVille and you will get 5 XPs for each hay bale you purchase. So, in order to get your 100 XPs, you would need to purchase 20 hay bales. 20 hay bales at 100 coins each would put you at spending 2,000 coins.

Leveling Up with Larger Items
If you need more than 100 XPs and do not want to purchase all of those hay bales, you may want to consider going with the larger items. The larger items will cost you a bit more, but you won't have hay bales every where. If you are purchasing items just to level up, make sure that you have plenty of money to blow. If you do not have money to blow, simply plow, plant, harvest, and visit neighbors to level up. Below you will find some of the larger decoration items that will earn you high amounts of XPs

Barrel Wagon
The Barrel Wagon will give you 40 XPs when you purchase it. The cost of the Barrel Wagon is 4,000 coins. Again, buying the hay bales would be a lot cheaper than purchasing a Barrel Wagon just to level up. You could purchase 8 hay bales to get the same amount of XPs as the barrel wagon

Small Pond
The small pond will cost you 5,000 coins and you will receive 50 XPs. So, if you need to level up by 50 or so XPs and don't want to buy a lot of hay bales, you could purchase a pond to place on your farm. However, you would save money by purchasing hay bales instead of the small pond.

If you like this article on Farmville decoration tips, please consider sharing this to your friends. Once again, Happy Farming!

Easy Money Tips in Plants vs Zombies

Guys this is easy money tips in Plants vs Zombies game. Here's how to do it. First, get the Zen Garden. Water the plants until they do not need anything else. Advance the system date ahead. The plants will need water again. Buy new plants, grow them to full size, then sell them. Repeat this to earn more money. You can also use this technique when you have to get Marigolds in Crazy Dave's shop when they are out of stock.

Here's a video showing easy money strategy.

Set up your defenses around the slot machine. Try for one row of walnuts on the right side, one or two rows of sunflowers on the left, and fill everything else with pea and snow pea shooters. Protect the lawn mowers. Each is worth a Gold Coin at the end of the game; do not let them mow the zombies. Stop collecting sun at about 1,900 sun points. At this point, the garden should be full; getting the extra 100 points to win should be easy. Just collect enough sun to offset the slot machine. Keep the slot machine spinning. It will randomly drop one or three gems as long your patience lasts. If the zombies get close to the mowers, end the game. Just collect the sun lying on the field to end the game.

Use the following trick to make Walnut Bowling more profitable. Protect the lawnmowers. Each mower is worth one gold coin ($250). Line up shots off the front runner. After the first zombie is hit, each additional zombie strike generates coins. Create a front runner where none already exists.Pole vaulting zombies will run fast until they vault over a nut, and the newspaper zombie runs fast after getting the paper destroyed by a nut. Let them run a short distance down the lawn before sending a nut their way. You do not need to use nuts. When there are a few zombies ambling down the lawn without a clear ricochet shot, wait some time to see if more of them will step out to play.

They can always be killed once they cross the red line. Remember how many nuts it takes to kill a zombie. This is important when they cross the red line. Use one nut for regular zombies, three for bucket wearing zombies, and two for the others. Keep the exploding nuts in reserve. Try not to use them unless a mob crosses the line or there are not enough nuts or room to clear out a difficult to kill zombie. Use the regular walnuts for the zombies that have not reached the red line. Do not use exploding nuts to kill pole vaulting zombies directly.

Pole vaulting zombies only jump obstacles in their own lane. A pole vaulting zombie who has not vaulted yet will safely jump over explosions or nuts in their own lane. Find a neighbor in the next lane and time the nut to hit when the pole vaulting zombie gets close to the neighbor.

Tips on Farmville Trees

Hey guys! Here's another tip on Farmville trees that you should know. This tip will help you improve your farming game. Trees make you more coin than it appears at first glance. Trees can be a very profitable and low maintenance crop in farmville. When you first look at the coins you receive from harvesting a tree versus the cost and days to harvest they do not look impressive. The truth is that trees can be very profitable for several reasons.

It is a bit hard to see in this picture but you are able to put 16 trees in the area of one plot. This means you need to sum up the coins received for 16 trees when you compare to other crops.
Farmville does not care that in real life crowding trees like this would be a problem. Not all the tress would get the sun and circulation they need.
The only down side to crowding trees like this is that it is hard to click on an individual tree come harvest time.

Farmville Trees Remain After Harvesting
When you harvest a crop in farmville, say eggplants or berries, you need to re-plow the land, buy new seeds at the farmville market and plant those seeds. This requires both coins and work. On the other hand, with farmville trees, when you harvest them there is nothing to do and no additional cost. The trees just start growing the next crop.

Per square and over time, date trees are the most profitable you can plant, followed by pomegranate, banana, passion fruit, grapefruit, and lime. Any other trees are a waste of time/money unless you're going for the "Knock on Wood" ribbon, in which case you could plant cherry trees to harvest as often as possible.

How to Earn A Lot of Money in Plants vs Zombies

Here's a tutorial on how to earn a lot of money in Plants vs Zombies game. The best way without a doubt is to beat adventure level mode and get your zen garden. Then play endless survival and adventure mode again to get plants. Water plants and mushrooms give you 10,000$ just to sell them and they give you 2 diamonds when they're grown to full, which pays for the food, and more. Normal plants like daytime plants and marigolds only give you 8,000$ to sell, but they give you two diamonds when grown to full. (Marigolds only give one diamond).

How to get Easy Money:
To get some easy money fill your zen garden first ( easiest way is to do some survivals or just change the date on your computer and keep buying new ones) buy the snail give him choclate and go to sleep... or leave it for an hour. (i woke up and made 267k!) See!

How to Increase Plant Growth:
Disable full screen mode. Go to your zen garden. After feeding the plants, it will normally take thirty minutes to feed them again. To feed them all, change the system time to an earlier value. This will increase their growth.

God of War 3 Tips and Tricks: The First Boss Battle: Levianthan I

God of War 3 The First Boss Battle: Levianthan I

The first boss will shoot streams of water, this will be able to push Kratos to the end of the arena and will give him a large chunk of damage.

You can avoid this by tapping your right stick to move out of the way, however in the meanwhile you will also need to start approaching the boss and try attack under the horses head (in the chest area).

You attack any area you can manage to reach on this boss creature. At the start of the battle you will only be able to use your standard attacks on its main body. You will acquire some damage in this process.

You will also need to dodge those enormous claws, you can avoid them by dashing out of the way using your jump button. You will once again need to try and attack the head or the claws on the beast, as before you will or might acquire some damage but it’s worth it!

You will need to repeat this process when the battle flips again.

In the final part of the battle you will need to start dodging the water attacks. You will be prompted to finish the fight. Follow the on screen instructions to do so.

Once you have finished the battle, you will then be transferred to a “quick time” event. This is when you must push the buttons on the screen once they have been shown, if you don’t do this quickly, it will lead you to acquiring some damage. Once you have completed the button pressing the battle will be over. Enjoy the game!

New Tips in Plants vs Zombies

This are new tips added in Plants vs Zombies game. Read this useful tactics and analyze your style of gaming and use this new tips and techniques. This is a summary and actions needed to be taken in certain stages and world of Plants vs Zombies.

Useful Tactics

World 1:
This area is very easy, and is mainly just a tutorial to the game, Use whatever plants you have, this early in the game. But make sure you have peashooters and sunflowers.

World 2:
Now this is when it gets a bit harder, the sun no longer falls from the sky, what I did was i used puff shrooms (the free mushrooms you get) and sun shrooms, then when I got that set up I would start setting up peashooters and repeaters. And at the end of the level, zombies spawn from the graves, so try to take them out early in the level (P.S. The graves give some good stuff, crystals, plants, and sun)

World 3:
Ok you made it this far, now we are dealing with a completely different kind of strategy, what I did was I got lilipads, cattails (cattails are VERY strong, they can attack any lane, and they shoot two spikes at a time) I also had wall-nuts, cherry bombs (for emergencies) peashooters and repeaters. You want to make each lane equally strong. And make sure you buy the pool cleaners, they help a lot.

World 4:
Ahh world 4, the hardest world in my opinion, basically its world 3 but you cant see half the screen, luckily you get a plantern in a level or two and you can see it then. I was stuck here for a while, but when I used cattails it was so much easier, just use the strategy from 3 and 4, i recommend at this point using sun flowers, and garden rakes (can be bought in Crazy Dave's shop for 200$" You REALLY want to use the torchwood, seeing as how they make your peas to DOUBLE damage. I personally have never really used the snow peas, but if your comfortable with them go ahead.

World 5:
And last but not least, the roof level, make sure you buy the roof cleaners, you will need them. Here is what I did the whole time, first two columns are sun flowers, third column is cabbagepults, fourth column is corn pults, and fifth column is tall-nuts. When you get the melonpults I suggest replacing column two with them. As for cob pults, dont use them, they take too long, and they're not that good. Bungee zombies are best countered by umbrella leaves. Get one or two in each row, NO MORE, they protect the eight squares surrounding them, and their own. And my last tip for World 5, is gargantuans, here's the thing, if they didn't throw the imp off of their back, then cherry bombs would be all you need, however, I would advise using a cherry bomb, then using a jalapeno on the row, to kill the imp and the gargantuan.

Dr. Zomboss:
This boss is very hard the first few times you fight him, so try doing this. Save all the ice shrooms and jalapenos you get, you need them to destroy his fire/ice balls. use all the other plants strategically to fight off the normal zombies. You WILL have to use ice shrooms and jalapenos occasionally, jsut save as many as you can.

Hope this helps. Share this post to a friend. Thanks!

The Farmville Dairy Barn

This is just a quick and simple explanation about the farmville dairy barn. Actually, the dairy barn is the first functional farmville building. The dairy barn was introduced to farmville gamers in October. It holds 20 cows and allows them to be harvested all at once. This saves valuable space on the farm as 20 cows would take up much more room than the dairy farm.

In order to purchase the Dairy Farm in FarmVille with coins, you will need to have 8 friends added as neighbors. The dairy barn costs 10,000 coins. The alternative is to pay $20 in farmville cash. If I did not have enough friends I would probably hold off and use my farmville cash for expansions. A larger farm is more valuable than a dairy barn.

Quick Harvest Trick
The first cow you put into the dairy barn determines the % ready of that dairy barn. This means that if you empty the barn and then put in a cow that is 100% ready, the barn will be 100% ready. Then you can put on a bunch of 0% ready cows and after you get them all in there you can harvest the whole barn. If you keep a bunch of 100% ready cows outside the bard you can repeat this over and over.

So there you have it the farmville dairy barn. Keep reading other articles and share to your friends. Happy Farming!

How To Box In Crops & Farmer in Farmville

On this tutorial we will discuss a cool cheat on how to box in crops and farmer in Farmville. Just follow the simple steps and apply this technique on your wonderful farm.

Box in the Farmer
When you are plowing, planting, or harvesting, you have to wait for your farmer person to walk around to each square. This trick speeds things up.

1. Move your farmer to an open area of the farm.
2. Place four objects around the farmer so that he/she is boxed in. Hay bales work great for this.
3. Now go click on items to harvest them, plow. or plant.
4. You will see the action complete without having to wait for the farmer to walk to the spot.

Here you can see I have boxed in the farmer. Hay bales work well because you can set up an area of hay bales with a nook for the farmer to stand in. You just click on that spo and the farmer will move there. Now all you need to do is move one hay bale in front of him an voila, he is boxed in. Now you can harvest crops, trees and animals without the farmer getting in the way or slowing you down.

Box in Your Crops
Another version of this trick is to box in your crops. If there is no path to get to the crops you do not have to wait for the farmer to walt to them to harvest them, I have dome this with trees, crops, and animals. It really speeds things up.

Here you can see that I have boxed in my chickens. Not only does it allow you to harvest them faster, it also eliminates another problem I was having. When the farmer would move to harvest the chickens, he would get in the way of clicking on the other chickens. The eliminates that problem as well.

Now, this is the best version of the box me in trick yet. Here is how to set it up.
  1. When you come to you farm you farmer is always in the same spot. If your farmer is not in that spot, leave by visiting someone and come back.
  2. Clear the space where your farmer is standing.
  3. Place hay bales around you farmer

Now when ever you come to your farm your farmer will already be boxed in! This also works for your neighbors that are visiting to help on your farm. They will arrive boxed in and can fertilize very quickly!

 Once again, Happy Farming!

Plants vs Zombies Beginners Guide

Plants vs Zombies Beginners Guide is a simple detailed explanation about the game, mechanics and points to consider in playing the game. Plants vs. Zombies is the strangest, most original game from PopCap yet. If you missed the teaser, starring an adorable sunflower voiced by Laura Shigihara and an entire rave party's worth of zombies, you might want to watch it now. It's one of the greatest promotional videos for a game in history.

PopCap has reason to be confident. While this is basically a melding of time-management gameplay with tower defense, it's so packed with colorful invention, it feels like a completely new concept.

You play the part of a home-owner in the midst of a typical zombie apocalypse, but exaggerated to a cartoon fever pitch. Beyond the suit-wearing regular zombies, you'll face zombies in football gear, zombies on pogo sticks, pole-vaulting zombies, and many more. The undead starving hordes are on the march, but your back yard is standing in the way, covered with fresh, fertilized topsoil. By planting various types of seeds, you must raise a crop of warrior vegetation that can defend your brains from the imminent devouring.

In gameplay terms, you have five lanes to defend (six on some levels) against the zombies, who enter on the right side of the screen and lurch slowly towards your home on the left. You select six plant types from your arsenal at the beginning of the level and then place them strategically on the lawn where they can fire on the approaching undead, who will fight back by munching on anything in arm's reach. You will gradually unlock a wide variety of plants (nearly 50!). Most of them act as stationary guns, periodically shooting peas or watermelons or what-have-you. Some protect the others, like the lovable Wall-Nut, some explode, like the Cherry Bomb, and some serve more specific purposes. Certain plants are effective against certain zombies, and vice versa.

Each plant costs a certain amount of sunlight to create. Actual globs of sun will fall periodically to the earth, and you must click on them to add to your supply. The sunflower will be your staple crop, providing another source of sunlight globs that can be used to power the rest of your vegetable army. Watching for and collecting sun occupies your time between planting, much like the resource-gathering of Popcap's own Insaniquarium.

There are 50 levels in the main Adventure Mode, spread across five different settings and about seven hours of gameplay. Each area requires a slightly different approach. At night-time, for example, you'll need to deploy bargain-price mushrooms to offset the lack of sunlight. In the pool, you'll need to support your plants on lily pads.

After completing the main storyline, there's still plenty left to do. The Survival Modes are like extended versions of a regular level, while the Puzzle Modes mix things up by hiding a variety of enemies in breakable vases, or by casting you as the zombies against a pre-figured squadron of plants. The real treat, however, is the Mini-Games, which riff on the main theme in just about every way imaginable. Look for bizarre hybrid call-backs to PopCap's previous games, like Bejeweled (here titled Beghouled) and Hammer Heads.

Analysis: The surprise of Plants vs. Zombies is how much sense the match-up makes. Zombies are slow, but plants are immobile. Zombies can be decapitated, but plants can be eaten. It's like they were just waiting to co-star in a video game.

If you still shiver from dopamine withdrawal when you think back on the "Ode to Joy" from Peggle, you can get ready to kiss your social life goodbye for a few days. Plants Vs. Zombies rewards you constantly. The entire adventure mode is a parade of gifts—new plant seeds, new gameplay modes, threatening notes from your more literate zombie opponents. Each present comes right at the end of a level, so the desire to instantly hit the Continue button and play with your new toy is irresistible. The zombies even drop coins, which can buy upgraded plants and other goodies out of the trunk of your insane neighbor's car.

Because the plants are so specific in their look and animation, each one is not only a unique weapon for repelling the zombie horde, but a whole character, complete with a biography. Both the plants and the zombies get well-written, often hilarious entries in the Suburban Almanac, which is a source of both entertainment and valuable information.

The shine doesn't come off the game until you've completed ALL the mini-games, and ALL the puzzle levels, and ALL the survival modes, earning of course a golden trophy for each one. Even then, there are a handful of high score modes, and the surprisingly addictive Zen Garden, a mellow side pursuit which may awaken a gardening version of the Pokemon catch-em-all ethos in you. If I could cross-breed plants to produce new mutated soldiers for battle, you would not be reading this review right now, because I wouldn't have been able to physically tear myself away from the game to write it.

The only real problem is that Plants vs. Zombies never does get very difficult. This is partly due to the silky-smooth learning curve. You barely notice the increasing challenge, since your skills and resources grow perfectly to match it. The other reason is that there isn't really a very wide range of strategy. Many of the later plants are just slight alterations on earlier ones, gauged to the needs of the current enemies. Despite a massive effort to inject variety by mixing mini-games right into the main adventure, many levels feel too similar to each other. This is especially true at the start of a level, when you're setting up the first few sunflowers the same way you did the last twenty times.

Please share this article to your friends. Thanks for reading. Good luck!

How To Entertain Your Neighbors With Your Farmtown Animals

How To Entertain Your Neighbors With Your Farmtown Animals

Facebook Farm Town has many animals available to farmers. Have a little get together and entertain Facebook Farm Town neighbors with your animals. Animals on Farm Town don't sure much of a purpose other than to make your farm look more authentic, so put the critters to work for you!

So here are the tips on how to entertain your neighbors with your farmtown animals. Enjoy!

1. Log on to your Facebook account. Then go to Farm Town and go to your farm.

2. Send a message to your Farm Town neighbors to invite them to a get together at your farm. Set a date and time. Tell them there will be entertainment.

3. Begin by welcoming everyone to your farm. Ask them to all follow you to a designated spot on your farm. Decide which animals you will use for entertainment.

4. Let the pig entertain your neighbors. Stand next to the pig that you have decided is up for the challenge. Ask your neighbors to watch this pig. Click on the chosen pig and select 'sleep' from the menu.

Marvel at the pig falling over and snoring. Wait for the applause.

5. Ask your neighbors to follow you to the bull pen. If you are at Level 31 or higher, you can buy a bull or two (or three) for a mere 6,000 Farm Town coins each.

Direct your neighbors' attention to the bull you have selected and click on the bull. Select 'snort' then 'charge' and wait for the oohs and aahs of your neighbors.

6. Go to a bench you have prepared ahead of time. See the article listed below--How to Get Animals to Stand on a Bench in Facebook Farm Town--to learn the subtleties of this trick.

Select an animal, such as a dog to stand on a bench. Again, wait for the applause to die down.

7. Go to a wheelbarrow you have prepared ahead of time. This trick is along the same lines as the bench. Use the same techniques but this time, as for a volunteer to help you. Ask them to click on the inside of the wheelbarrow. Their farmer will walk to the wheelbarrow and 'stand' in the wheelbarrow.

8. Retire to a relaxing area of your farm where you have setup a picnic set or a table with stools. Offer your neighbors lemonade and some refreshments from the grill.

9. Gather the animals that entertained your group and take a picture to post on your Facebook wall. Be sure to smile!

That's about it. Enjoy the game. Happy Farming!

Common Mistakes Made in Farmville

Friends, How are you doin? Yes, you've read it right.Common mistakes made in Farmville. Even farm experts made these mistakes when they started playing and new to the game. I guess all of us does.

So here are the common mistakes usually made in Farmville Game:

Planting the wrong crops:
I did this. The first thing I did when I started playing farmville was plant wheat on every plot. Now I had to wait three days to do anything else. I could have dug up the crops but I used all my coins to plant the wheat so I was stuck.

Plowing, plowing, plowing and not looking at coins remaining:
Here I was, plowing away, clicking and clicking. When you get ahead of your farmville character the squares turn faded. So here I am clicking 30 or more plots ahead. I looked up and I had 234 coins left. I watched as all my coins disappeared. No coins to buy seeds with!

Fertilize before you leave:
When you help a neighbor you receive points. When you visit their farm you may be asked to help pick weeds, chase raccoons away, or some other task. Once the task is complete a fertilizer icon will appear and you cursor will have a fertilizer bag. You must fertilize before leaving or the bags will be gone when you come back.

Fertilizing is important. Not only does it help your neighbors crops grow strong, it gives you coins and exp points. It also will earn you the "Crop Whisperer" Robbins.

Not coming back in time.

Strawberries are a 4 hour crop and I came back about 8 hours later. You loose all that revenue and you have to plow up the withered crops.

Once I planted the entire farm with raspberries which are a 2 hour crop and came back about 0 hours later. The whole crop was withered. Boo Hoo.

Oops, the game did not save before I closed the browser!
This happened to me and was really an unpleasant surprise. I was up late and plowed and planted a 20x20 field of Sweet Seeds for Haiti. This is a six hour crop so I was planning to harvest it in the morning. When I got up in the morning and opened Farmville there was just an empty plowed field. What's going on here!

Well I realized that sometimes my internet connection gets lost. Since the state of you farmville game is stored on the server, if the connection is lost for a period of time, even though the application is running locally the information does not get to the server. Did you ever get the big cow message "The bits got lost on the way to the server"?

If you re-establish the connection before closing the browser everything usually everything is OK and you will find a nice field of sweet corn in the morning.

So how do I know if what I did just made it to the server?

The best way I have found to be sure is to go visit a neighbors farm before quitting. If you don't get there, i.e. the screen just stays on your farm, then your connection is lost. You need to re-establish your internet or wireless connection and try again. If you do get there, you can help them and come back home. When you get back home you will see your seeds are planted. You can also click on the free gifts menu at the top.

Empty you garden shed before you harvest:
If you do not there will be no room for perfect bunches.

I think that's about it. If you like this post about Common Mistakes Made in Farmville, please share it to your friend by clicking facebook share button. Thanks and Happy Farming!

Farmville Cash

Hello Farmville friends! On this article we will talk about Farmville cash and how to use it. Farmville cash differs from Farmville coins in several ways. First is that you earn Farmville cash at a much slower rate. You start out with 5 Farmville cash dollars. You earn 1 Farmville cash dollar every time you level up. That is all.
Some people have stated that you earn a farmville cash dollar when plowing and a gold coin pops up. This is not true. When you dig up a gold coin you get a 100 coin bonus and nothing more.

So the only way to get more farmville cash is to

1. Level up and get 1 FarmVille cash dollar.
2. Buy Farmville cash with real money using a credit card or paypal
3. Complete special offers on the "Add coins and cash" page.

There are some farmville cash offers that are free with no obligation and others that require you to subscribe to services. Read all offers carefully and make sure you are not signing up for a service that you don't really want or need.

For some reason people are against doing this and complain that Zynga is evil for encouraging you to do this my offering nice upgrades for cash only. I don't see how this is any different than going to a store and buying a game for $29-$59 real dollars. When you look at the price for farmville cash it is really not that bad.
Paying $20 for 115 farmville cash will get you 115 farmville dollars. That will buy you a lot of expansions, buildings, and special items. I have paid more than that for games at the game store.

Earning Farmville Cash through Special Offers

It appears this method may have been removed. I know there were a lot of complaints that people were signing up for service without knowing it by entering there mobile number, or giving a credit card number and then not remembering to cancel the free trial.

To me it feels much safer to pay $5 for farmville cash than to spend an afternoon filling our surveys. I am not sure what your time is worth but buying the cash is much easier and less risky. If you end up paying $9.99 a month for a service you forgot to cancel on time you will be out more real money.

If you like this Farmville Cash article, don't forget to share with your friends. Hope this helps. Happy Farming!

Safari Tips and Tricks: The Safari Activity Window

Safari Tips and Tricks: The Safari Activity Window

For most, the Activity window will be useless for day to day browsing, but it can be convenient to have at times. For instance, if a page is failing to load, opening up the Activity window will show you a list of resources on the page and highlight the ones which are throwing up errors.

You can also use it for opening up parts of webpages (JavaScript, CSS, QuickTime files, etc.) in their own window. If you were a budding web developer, for example, and you wanted some example of CSS from existing websites, you can use the Activity window to open up the CSS of a page. Just open up the window, and click the fly-out triangle for the site you’re browsing. Scroll through the list until you find the .css file, then double-click to open it up in its own Safari window for inspection. This works for any file on a webpage.

Another way the window comes in handy is as a quick and dirty way to download YouTube videos. While you can get specialized applications for this, the Activity window lets you do it right from Safari. Navigate to a YouTube video page, then open the window. The file you’re looking for contains ‘videoplayback’ in the URL, and is most likely the largest file on the page. You can download the video by selecting this file and double clicking. This proceeds to download the file. It’ll come down as a .flv, but it’s fine to play in QuickTime as long as you have Perian installed. You can then use QuickTime 7 Pro or QuickTime X to export the video in a more suitable format such as MP4.

Farmville Alert: Missing Neighbors, How to Fix It.

Hey Guys! Please read this alert from the official Farmville game developer. Zynga has been having issues with mising neighbors that this method may not fix. Here is the message from Zynga:

"Howdy farmers! We have noticed missing neighbor issues with FarmVille and expect to be back to normal soon. Thanks for bearing with us. Happy farming!"

Are Your Neighbors Missing in Farmville?
This has happened to people from time to time. You open up Farmville an all your friends a missing. That's why this farmville alert on missing neighbors was announced. There are no friend icons at the bottom of the page. All the plots around my farm are vacant! You ask yourself, where are my farmville neighbors? Don't panic, here is what you need to do to fix it:

How to Fix missing neighbors in Farmville:
Send a gift to any friend/neighbor. When you come back to Farmville you neighbors will be back! Of course you need to do this from the free gifts link at the top of the page because you friends are missing on the bottom.

That is all there is to it. When your neighbors are missing in farmville it can be quite unnerving. I thought all my farmville neighbors were gone for good when it first happened. Sending a gift to any of your neighbors will cause your neighbors to come back. I tried this and is worked.

I am not sure why my farmville neighbors disappear from time to time but it has happened to me more than once. The first time my neighbors were missing I did not know what to do, I could not visit their farms and I could not send them gifts from the farmville neighbor links at the bottom of the screen. I had to use the free gifts link to send the gifts.

Whew! that was scary also. Imagine all of your friends will be gone. So I hope that this article on Farmville Alert: Missing Neighbors, How to Fix It really helped a lot. If you like this post, don't forget to share it with your friends. Happy Farming!

Guide to Farmville Crops

What are Farmville Crops? and what crops are we going to plant in our farm? This guide is actually very useful in understand what crops to plant, how to ultilize them and how does it affect our farming game.

Which crops should I grow?
The crop you grow in farmville depends on when you are going to be at you computer. This guide will tell you that if you grow a crop that is ready in 4 hours but you do not come back for 8 hours, you will find a field of withered crops that is worth nothing when you return. Crops seem to wither in about the same time as they ripen.

Coins and Cash
Early on you should plant strawberries, strawberries, and strawberries. They will give you the most coins/hr. You will also gain experience points each time you harvest and plow for the next crop.

Raspberries will get XP even though there is no XP for planting
Raspberries are deceiving. When you look in the market it says 0 XP however you can make both coins and XP fast in farmville with raspberries. While you don't get experience points for planting raspberries, if you keep planting them you do get XP because you can plow every 2 hours (you get 1XP per plow) so in eight hours you will get 4 experience points per plot. Here is an example over eight hours. Keep in mind, if you are not going to be in front of your computer every two hours you should pick an 8 hr, 12 hr, 1 day or more crop.

Choosing the crop to grow in farmville depends on the goal. If your goal is to maximize cash per hour you should sort the table above by coins/hr and choose the top crop that is available at the level you are playing. On the other hand, it is important to level up in farmville so you may have a goal to maximize experience points/hr.

Don't let you crops wither.

According to this guide, strawberries are a 4 hour crop and I came back about 10 hours later. They were withered. I lost all that revenue and then I had to plow up the withered crops. The amount of time crops are guaranteed to stay ripe is still equal to the growth time. This means, if you plant a crop that takes four hours to grow, it will still stay ripe up to eight hours. After the time your crops are guaranteed to stay ripe, they now have a variable cushion of time up to half the time it takes to wither. However during this cushion time, crops will wither randomly at different times.

I have to go to work I'm going plant Tomatoes
Tomatoes are a profitable crop that take 8 hours to ripen. That makes them a great crop to plant in the morning before you go to work. When you get home in 8 to 12 hours you will have a nice field of ripe tomatoes to harvest at $173 per plot. Later when you get sugar cane that is the best 8 hr crop.

Sugar Cane is Sweet but Blackberries may be sweeter
Sugar cane is the most profitable crop in all of Farmville at 7.38 coins/hr but you only get 0.25 xp/hr. With blackberries you get a very close 6.75 coins/hr but you get 0.50 XP per hour. It depends what you goal is, gaining coins or XP.

I hope this guide to Farmville Crops really helped a lot in your farming game. Happy Farming!

Guide to Farmville XP

Hello Farmville friends, here are some points to consider and a simple guide to Farmville XP.
Another factor that will contribute to your planting decision is that different crops yield different benefits in terms of experience. Crops that take at least a day to grow will grant you 2 experience points for each patch of land you plant them on.

Most crops take at least this long to grow to maturity, but there are some, like strawberries, that only take a few hours. These will only get you one experience point per plot of land planted. The faster you accumulate experience points, the faster you'll move up to the next level.

That doesn't mean you want to only plant the crops that give you 2 experience points though. If you're going to be able to check back on your strawberries and plant more as soon as the old ones are ready to be harvested, you can actually get more experience points in a day with these types of crops. It all depends on how well you stay on top of your planting and harvesting cycles.

Please read other articles and guide to Farmville XP in order to familiarize with the proper technique that you will apply in your game. Happy Farming!
